The Ultimate Droid 2.1.0 - Droid Only

I had adw before. I installed 2.1 right over 2.0 and adw was still there. I downloaded a adw theme and installed it frmo the market. Worked just fine.

That might be so, but do you have any other launchers or is that the only one ???? And mine keeps closing and redrawing and all the widgets are of course gone and when I go to trash the Blacked out widgets it give errors and redraws, I haven't played too much with it so I may be able to fix, just haven't had the time. Still running 2.0 and everything is working good except Bluetooth, so I'm going to unzip 2.1 and pull the bluetooth app out of it and replace into 2.0 and re-zip and see what happens when I install.

I installed 2.1 and had an immediate choice of the UD Launcher (based on ADW apparently) or Launcher Pro. I use LP so I wnet that route.

I saw one post earlier asking or stating something but nothing since then.
Curious if others are experiencing the same problem or know how to fix this issue.

Since this would be nice since where I am going for the holiday weekend has crappy cell service and have to live off of wifi.

My WiFi is doing the same thing (grrr). I did try a new kernel, Sayher 1.1 LV but it's doing the same thing.

I rarely use WiFi so it's not that big of a deal but I want it to work if I should need it.

Any help out there?

Slayher's Kernel I've never had an issue.... Try flashing the Kernel again

doing a clean install went fine...however the market did'nt auto download my apps etc....so I reinstalled 2.0....then just flashed 2.10 over it...no wiping...nothing....worked great!!! awesome rom blackdroid!

Let me clarify, the WiFi issue was occurring with the stock Slayer kernel so, on the suggestion of someone on this forum, I flashed a different kernel in the hopes of fixing it.

Everything seems to work except WiFi.

Just flashed this, no wipe. Works great. Smooth, fast and very responsive. But I was used to using swipe.

Can you listen to music and answer a call while doing so. Then after call does it revert back to music....

I flashed a slayher 1.1 lv kernel and it ran good battery died kinda fast although i was listening to pandora but that was only for like 40 minutes at the most lost 30%. Wifi tether didnt work either with the 1.1 or the 1 ghz. So now im running p3 1 ghz.... anyone else....?

oh and the stock kernel worked fine i just need more speed....

How about a little more information,like
1.How did you install e.g. full wipe, no wipe installed over UD 2.0
2. What methode did you use to install sp or cw ?

I use ADW for my Home program. When I loaded up 2.1.0 I lost my settings and now have the UD ADW settings. Is there a way to revert back to what I had previously saved? I did try using the restore options but did not give back my old ADW screen and settings.

I used BT today on my way to work and no issues, but I only use BT to play music through my sterro, not for phone calls.


Just went out and made calls while listening to music and no problems.
