Use root exploere or similar... navigate your way to system/app amd find the apps you are trying to update and delete them. (you may have to tap the button in the upper right corner which is "mount r/w". Once theay are gone from there, go clear you markts data and cache and try again

Don't do this with ADW unless you have another launcher installed and have it running.. otherwise, you will just get a nice bank black screen.

I find it humorous how many people have d=been duped by the trash can and deleted their home icon. I did this too and had to setup all my shortcuts agin...lol Now, it seems there is a better way.. oh well, learn something new every day.

so first off i need to install another launcher ( maybe launcher pro or something ) and then i need to download root explorer? Is there anything like root explorer that is free?

I can almost guarantee there is a root explorer similarity thats free. I dunno what it is though. Yes, get LP or something and make sure it's the one you are using when you delete ADW or UD Launcher or whatever.

Hey I want to update my UD to this ROM but every time i flash a rom, the first thing i do is go to the market to get all my apps back but they are always already downloading.After like 5 minutes it will say "download unsuccessful" is there any way to stop my market from auto downloading my apps every time i flash to a new ROM?

UDLauncher redraws

Anyone else having screen redraws with their UDLauncher? Getting a lot of those on mine and force closes. I tried the redraw fix that I used in the past for ADW Launcher and it does not seam to of helped. I installed 2.1 over 1.0 without clearing data or cache. All seams to be working fine except with the redraws. Any ideas? Thanks.

Put the phone in Airplane mode.

so i just downloaded linda file manager. Navigated my way to system/app . I was looking for adw and angry birds and find differences since these are the apps that i downloaded but wouldnot install. I didnt see any of these apps in there. So now what can i do to get these apps to install on my droid?

same here. i have read most of this thread and once in a while someone says something like this like i said that it goes from 100-70 slowly, then from 60-40 kinda faster, then skips from 40-20 then its basically just runs out of battery then. i have realized that nobody every comments or gives any fixes to these. can someone please just comment about this like if you have the same problem? i would love to know how this can be fixed

Try a different kernel for the battery issue. I'm using the stock kernel and dont have this issue.

I have tried to find something but have had no luck. Or maybe the ones that I've found I don't know how to use. I believe you gave me a suggestion once, but no luck...

Yeah the battery thing is an issue..well the batter life isn't too bad..I'm also running Chevys 1.0 lv kernel..any tips on how to make the battery last longer?
