No problem. There may be a fix for it but I don't know of one. And not exactly. Luigi made one for me as a metamorph theme that works on any ROM. So, when I flash, I just apply it real quick and that's that. Takes about 10 seconds to install so it doesn't bother me to install it every flash. If you want, I can provide a link to it for you.
Sure, that would be great. I'll give it a try. Just flash it as a .zip in recovery?

Here is the link: MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service. And no. You have to download Metamorph from the market (it's free). Once you download that and everything it will place a folder on your SD card named AndroidThemes. Mount your phone and place the .zip inside the AndroidThemes folder. Then, you open up Metamorph, run the checks that it prompts on every startup, and then click extract new theme(something along those lines), bottom left button. You'll go to the REVOlution.zip file and click it. It will do it's thing and probably say that it wasn't written correctly but it still does what it needs to do. Then go and click the other button(existing theme) and it will open the folder, click REVOlution again and it will show a file named REVOlution icon.xml or something like that, click on that one and install. It will have a green M next to the .xml file.
EDIT: It will ask you to reboot, which is normal. Once the phone reboots the change will be made.
This have the new dialer that was in 2.0 but fixed? Or the old dialer?

It looks like the stock kernel (for the D1) is a Sapphire kernel. So should we use other Sapphire kernels if we want to clock higher?
What kernels are you all having best luck with? I tried Chevy No1's newest and the phone was almost unusable. I will try LF Slayher 1100 now.
Everyone is going to tell you to use either a chevy or slayher kernel, but I encourage you to be different try a jdlfg kernel. I have mine set at 1 ghz, and it runs perfect. Best battery life in my opinion also. Sapphire was also nice for me, but jdlfg just seems to be the best.
I decided to go with that because chevy gave me freeze ups and slayher gave me terrible battery life. Good luck with whichever you decide and what works best for you.

Hmm, I'm not sure. I've never tried. The only thing I can think of is restoring a backup of 2.3 which I doubt you've created yet since you recently flashed or reinstalling without a wipe. I emailed the dev asking to create the battery with a percentage string. I was doing it but then I realized he patched some of the icons to fit and I don't know how to use Android SDK that well so I can't make them fit after edit.
Oooh, well I was just wondering because the percentage doesn't look too hot over this one either. And I did make a backup, I just did it right after install, then again later today and I don't want to have to go through and re-do all the modifications I've made to the rom throughout the day. What if I restored the stock 2.3 backup after backing up settings and whatnot in titanium? Then could I restore everything from titanium and be good? I haven't really used titanium much, but it seems like there should be an easier way...

thanks so much bro, i figured somebody had already complained about the battery deal, i couldn't read it and saw nothing wrong with the old one, but this fix just worked perfectly. Not exactly the same, but i have no problems with it!
Good release. I've never used P3 kernels though - how are they compared to Chevy and slayher? I've been on the slayher 1250LV.
I am having redraw issues when I send pictures on my droid 1. Is there away to improve the screen redraws..
does the 3d app tray on launcherpro work on this yet? 2.2 is the illest rom ive ever ran and with the ikandee theme it looks sick. my phone is setup almost perfect right now, all i want to add is that damn 3d app tray!
Yes, very. The battery icon?Yes a miui-like lockscreen would be an awesome addition to UD... I think the battery at the very top of the notification bar is a really cool miui feature too
And wow...I accidentally replaced the app drawer with another app and have no idea how to get it back. Haven't used ADW in many months. Care to help me out with this? Haha
EDIT: Downloaded LP. That's what I use anyway
Yea there's an option to replace the battery icon with a thin green bar at the very top of the notification bar... it looks really nice
