Hey guys, am I missing something? Where are the extra controls for the sms on the lock screen? I do not see that, or gesture controls anywhere. Please help to point it out for me.

I have the same issue with heat on most roms...but I have not had any heat issues yet on this one, still running stock kernel though. I was on CyangenMod RC5 with no problems and UD before that but I felt like my phone was going to melt.

Big heat issues with UD, Like CPU temp of 130-135 f, and batt of 115-120 f worth a try, it's one of my favorite roms. So far nothing over 95 for CPU and under 90 for batt. (except when downloading all my apps then it was 110 and 100.)

How do you get compcache running on 2.3? Are the edits and terminal commands still necessary?? Thanks..

Terminal commands aren't necessary but you do still need to install this:

http://android.antbox.org/slayher/slayher_compcache_droid.zip

as an update.zip...

Pretty disappointed that I'm still having to do this. I won't donate until a rom works without me having to tinker with it. I can go get any number of other roms that compcache works in. Hopefully next release.

Sounds exactly like what I had. I wish there was a way to keep it from syncing my apps but still be able to install a couple of my paid apps to do some testing. By battery is at 70 so I'll be flashing soon. I'm just worried that if it works on this one, the next release might give me issues.

On the lockscreen phone/mms tabs my phone is working but the mms tab does nothing, just leaving the phone on the lockscreen. Is this working for anyone? I want it to go to the mms program, haven't tested it assigning it to another app or direct message or anything.

you have to assign the app you want it to open in ud settings.

you have to assign the app you want it to open in ud settings.

but there isn't an option in the settings for the mms app, only other apps or direct message to a contact. I want it to go to the messaging app.

Now I got it lol you have to pick applications, then the messaging app... I feel like a noob! lol

Look under Phone and messaging, there is a choice for messaging tab application. You can pick what happens when you use the message icon on lock screen.


edit: settings/UD settings/input settings/ scroll down look for messaging tab application.
