Same problem, I had to restore the market with Titanium. Tried to flash the .zip again after restore but this time it didnt delete the market, but it didnt theme it either.
 
this is my first dl of UD. i flashed 2.5.0 and started getting FC's in the setting. i then fixed permissions. no luck. flashed the setting fix. no luck. i wiped 3x coming from MIUI. any suggestions?

Hmm, thats very surprising. If its not a hassle for you, flash 2.3 then 2.5. Im curious because it sounds like more people are having problems if they had wiped. Which shoudnt make sense but weird things happen.

i just did a factory reset/wipe and i formatted the boot, system, data, cache, and sd-ext. i also downloaded the zip from the UD web site. if that doesn't work, i'll do what you suggested.

so here's the deal :)

after the download, i clicked on it and it gave me the option of astro or rom manager. i selected rom manager. phone rebooted. and now i have no market.

i hate to be such a noob but can ya explain to me how to install this?

what i'm thinking is use astro, move it to the root of the sdcard. reboot into recovery and flash zip. is this correct?

I had the same problem, i cant get BM to work for me either. Now in order to get market back you have to reflash 2.5. Its a pain I know, i should of told you that before.
