I'm assuming you're talking about an LVSlayer kernal, if so this will break your accelerometer. You have to use the stock kernal, which is designed for Gingerbread, if you want full functionality. A 2.2 kernal won't work.

Been running it for a couple of days now and must say the battery life is amazing. I pulled mine off the charger Thursday morning at 5am, and it just died at 1pm today. I was charging every night and i am a hardcore surfer and spend more time with my phone than my wife and kids. LOL. Had some reboot issues and force closes but ran Fix permissions and it took care of all of them. Great rom...cant wait for the official release.

I found that installing Spare Parts and making any kind of change kills the On/Off animation.

Uninstalling does not fix it, nor does it remove the changes made. Does anyone know how to wipe the changes made by Spare Parts?

*EDIT* The best resolution appears to be re-flashing, no wipe.

spare parts is built into UD, and the on/off animations disappear when you change your transition settings to fast. they need to be on normal in order for the on/off animations to stick

Hah! Is that all it is? So does turning transitions back to normal bring back the on/off animations?

*EDIT* Yes it does.

guys this is one of the best UD roms I should say. Its fast like hell, super snappy. With the new restart connections fix everything seems to be awesome.

sometimes I do get FC on launcher pro. Is this happening to anyone else?

Also did anyone notice the speed at which applications load - super improvement from Froyo I should say. Also the display on how much memory is left is a great.

Using 3.0.0 and sp recovery won't create a nandriod, I go to simple nandroid backup and it starts but gets stuck on the data dump, then if I go into the nandroid file it only contains the data.tar file. Also I went to make a call using the phone from the launcher and it said something like "application not installed on phone" any help?

i knew i wasnt the only one. im itching to try that chaos theme but after reading someone else having in issue with sp recovery i changed my mind. it seems to be random on which D1 it affects. then to fix the issue is lengthy and PITA process. 2.5 is running smooth for me so far. just gotta control my serial flashing :)

EDIT== oops, to fix the issue my sd card ended up getting damaged but all i did was copy ALL of my content from the droid sd card to my comp. then i formatted my sd card on my comp (for some reason wouldnt let me format from phone, it would just hang there) put it back in my droid and booted it. then hooked my phone up to my comp and recopied everything back. you might have to change all ringtones back as the are assigned at random tracks. for the issue with the phone app id just wipe and clear and reinstall. but first get your nandroid backup fixed.

I didn't want to read through the 37+ pages of this to see if this had already been posted.

To those having issues with missing texts, calls, emails, ect... Turn the minimum speed up to at least 400mhz. This will solve the issue. The same thing happened when 2.2 roms first started coming out.

Awesome work by BD and team. Looking forward to the final release.
