The Ultimate Droid 3.0.1 - Multiple Phones

Not sure if this a ROM issue, an app issue, or a gingerbread issue but I cannot seem to get my USB mounting widget to work. I have "Extended Controls" and like to use its "Mass Storage" widget to mount and unmount my SD card while it is docked. This widget, however, has not worked on UD since before v. 2.5. When I attempt to add that widget to my home screen, I get the message "Your device does not support direct control of a USB."

Has anyone seen this or know a workaround. I miss this function and it is literally the only frustration I have at this point. Other than that, UD 3.0 rocks for me.

I'm not sure but I'll throw this out there in that I thought I read somewhere someone having a similar issue because USB debugging was not enabled. This may be way off target but I thought I'd toss it up just in case.

Just loaded 3.0.1, boot animation is cool, but its been trying to boot up for now over a minute.. Hopefully this is what it does the first time... ?????


Wiping cache and factory reset as we speak, hopefully this fixes it. But it got stuck in boot loop

Yeah, mine took a few minutes first time around but came up eventually fine...had to reset up my Exchange account tho.

Alright took almost 2 minutes to finally come up... but wiping and clearing everything fixed it... jeebus >_<
I dig the boot animation though very nice!

I too was stuck in a bootloop after upgrading to 3.0.1

I just pulled the battery and got into recovery, and reflashed update.zip in clockwork.

Still bootlooping. Funny thing is the screen is shutting on/off with crt animation during the bootloop

Just let it go for a few minutes, other people are saying the same thing, but it finally comes up..

I just rebooted to test, stuck in boot loop again.. >_< damnit

New boot animation is causing Boot loops on 3.0.1, after you clear/wipe re-apply the new install file. Once your phone is up, change the boot animation screen. I changed it back to the original one, phone came up in under 30 seconds!

Just installed 3.0.1 on my D1... I'm trying to drop apps into a folder. It keeps duplicating the icons rather than moving them into the folder. Anyone else have this or any resolutions to this?

Edit: resolved. Had to back up GO Launcher again with data.

How are text and email notification in this version? Never could get both to work on first release. The wipe if cache helped email but then no text.
