I am looking for a little advice here.. VZW is sending me a replacement Bionic today because of the number of times I have complained about data connection issues. I am rooted, running 5.5.893 and things are working well with no issues.

What is the benefit of getting a new device?
Do I need to do anything before shipping back my original to Big Red

@ BLUEZDAWG...hey,what's the outcome??

Worked like a champ! Pushing stuff to my SD card now ;-)

Fyi, I was not rooted and did not install the leaked version (as much as it killed me to wait). Will see how the update works for a week, then root!

At work and shouldn't even be on here, but what I can tell you from the few short minutes I've had mine... The camera WORKS and I have a stronger 4GLTE than ever before (at my office).

Ditto on stronger 4g ! Phone seems a bit snappier as well.

Kinda weary of using something called forever root lol. I rooted my D1 and it was great. I feel like the roms were buggy at times and I always wondering how being stock felt. In ur opinion is having a rooted bionic better than stock? I doubt u all use it for the speed of the roms. Could use some insight before I take the plunge....
