[Theme] 928Droid "Black Glass" 2.2 for Froyo - Update.zip - MetaMorph - Back to Stock

K I'm getting the wifi issue it scans but never connects to network. I glashed the stock 2.2 froyo on rom manager among checked wifi it worked. Then flashed dark glass and it just scans and never connects. Stock kernel is running. Fresh install I tried. This is the only theme I'm running.

I know this might not be the place to ask this, but can this theme be installed over CM 5.0.7.1? I have tried all the froyo builds and get nothing but random reboots. I have tried them all with all the kernels and no luck. So, I will stay with CM, just wondering if this will work with it or if you have a version of this that will work with CM 5.0.7.1. Thanks 928.

one way to find out is to back up your setup and try this theme. The good thing about it is you dont have to wipe. You can instal over it. Thats what I did with 3 different Roms. dancedroid

Tried that with no dice. thanks for the try though. I found that 928 has another theme for 2.1. I am going to try that one and see.

Yep I agree still cant get wifi working on 2.2 on any of the roms

i just recently installed 2.2 froyo, and tried the update.zip and it just gets stuck on the droid eye....the droid eye is animated but it just wont finish the boot...anyone else have this issue??

edit: reinstalled it, it booted, took awhile, but as soon as i unlocked it, it says activity android system (in process system) is not responding., it also says i have no service at all when in the lock screen

Try installing the "Back to Stock" update.zip first, then apply the Black Glass update.zip

It should already be there.

The MM version should work fine, haven't tried the Update.zip over that ROM. Make a backup and give it a try.

Yeah, it works fine over UD Extreme RC2. If you are still running RC1, update asap. The reboot issues with RC1 should be fixed. I was about to go back to 2.1.

I will not use this theme until I find a simple way to not change the battery icon. Considering how many people have asked about that, I would have thought that the OP would have either explained it simply for us or created an alternative download version without the battery.

Wow, there have been a lot of folks not liking the battery theme but it is "their" theme. They are providing it for "free". If they do decide to modify the battery icon that will be free as well and we should all be thankful for this free"ness". Besides, they only touched about a thousand other components in building this free theme. I can't imagine the time and effort that went in to this. I am sure you are thankful it just doesn't always sound like it.

Either way, OR just grab a Metamorph of the Battery Icons you like best and apply it after my theme. Just make sure it only has 14 pngs in it and is not the whole framework-res.apk.
