gotcha - was just curious... i've kinda grown to like the pulsar thing... well, let me rephrase, i've always liked it, but it took some getting used to from a standpoint of knowing exactly where the battery stood

only reason i asked that question is b/c i threw my custom dropdown background in the update.zip and it didn't show up, so i didn't know if there was something different with froyo, but it sounds like it was just user error, which is highly likely as i did it in a rush...

I have tried many themes but I could never get them to load. This theme has little treats all over. It is fun to keep coming across them. Thank you 928Droid really a beautiful job. It took a good seven minutes to get past bootanimation (which was expected) then it loaded perfectly. No lag or extra memory usage. Used sprecovery. Me like

yea for some reason im not able to get the update.zip to work properly...

Try installing the "Back to Stock" update.zip first, then apply the Black Glass update.zip

yup that worked, along with some patients thanks again! Though i just realized that the unlock slider is how you have pictured on the first post, while the other button, which is usually mute, but after going to froyo its vibrate, and sound, is not themed, no big issue honestly just interesting that it is the one thing that did not theme.


if i update maps and launcher pro, will i lose the themes on them?

And this is why I read through the entirety of a thread before I whine about a problem. I was a heavy DroidLight user and when I found this theme broke it, I wasn't happy. However, I'll use TeslaLED instead as the actual creator the program that gives me my flashlight back doesn't matter much. I just hope it doesn't burn the LEDs out before my contract is up!

This is very nice. Aesthetically I'd say I preferred the transparent browser/phone/launcher buttons over the new ones, but since I have no idea how to go about changing it I'll learn to love it. ::edit:: Upon further reflection, I like the full-color pictures on those buttons... But the black border still kinda throws me. Overall, yes, improvement!

The effort that must have gone into this... I've written (not published, but finished) two novels and I am agape at the thought of doing something like this.

Thanks 928 for such a wonderful theme. I absolutely love it. For the life of me I cannot get Pandora to update for me, but I have a feeling that is the fault of my ROM and not your theme.

Thanks again for such a fantastic theme. Now all we need is Slacker to get themed.

I love this theme, but I do have issues telling where my battery % is at. I know there has been posts about how to MM a new battery image in, but any chance we can get an alternative version of this theme with the battery changed?

Love the theme and cannot imagine the amount of work it took to do something like this, very impressive.

wow nice job! i have installed every theme and stumbled upon black glass today. this is by far the best theme available for frf57. i have team chaos build with your theme fantastic. i downloaded to pc, then installed via rom mgr. without a hitch. keep up the great work. i just wish i knew how to pound code.

only problem im having is I cant sync my facebook to contacts. I go to add account, click facebook and it just takes me back to the accounts and sync screen. I add twitter just fine.

anybody else having this problem?

Just checked and mine works fine.

FYI, you do have to exit and restart Facebook for it to show it is syncing at the bottom of the Facebook>Menu>Settings screen.

would i be able to update launcherpro and maps, and keep the theme? also i noticed that when i got froyo plain rooted, the facebook worked perfectly, the inbox refreshed uptodate, and now after i installed the update.zip of this, it doesnt have uptodate inbox's.

No problem with fb. Did u. Wipe cashe? This to me is the best theme stablity and looks. I had no problems at all. I suggest clean frf57 then blk gls. I am so happy.

Yeah it works completely fine syncing through the facebook app. I was trying to do it through system settings earlier and it just wouldnt work.
