[Theme] 928Droid "Black Glass" 2.2 for Froyo - Update.zip - MetaMorph - Back to Stock

You just have to search and read here on DroidForums...it's all here just waiting for you to learn and do stuff exactly how you want it....exactly what I did.

When I get time I may make a "Beginners Theme Guide" ... just need more time :-)

OK, i found a guide off site that i understand & i have opened the files. ive noticed that there are 2 types of battery.
1. the round battery thats in your screen caps
2. the stock looking battery that i have that has the #'s in it
is there a setting in the phone that i can switch to use the round battery?

im using the frgo1b odexed vers

Don't take this the wrong way but, this is a Thread about my Themes...not about how to learn to Theme :-)

I need to use thes threads for support and updates, hope you understand.

AND, the answer to your questions are already in this thread (I have posted them at least 3-5 times already)...take the time and read thru or search just this thread (option is just above fiirst horizonal "banner") for "battery" and you will find it faster.

Cheers,

LOL, oops, yea its cool. i apoligize. have one on me :pint:

ok cool

Not sure I understand..screen cap?

havent figured out the screen cap stuff yet.

its just that the power widget you know where you put in the new sattelit image. its is now black and white no colors.

OH, you mean the Power Control Widget ICONS are now "Greytones" :-)

Yes, I tried to like the colored ones, but with all the colored Icons in the Status Bar and all the app shortcuts it was starting to look "over the top" for me...plus it didn't match the other factory Widgets. ...decided to do them all in greytones...if you notice the Music Widget is now also in greytones to match.

Depending on the ROM you are using I can send you a Zip file with the colored Icons in it and you can replace the other ones.

ok for me nothing is over the top :) i have other zips i can pull them from but thanks. your the theme king!

Theirs a lot of pages of replies so obviously I might look stupid asking this as I've only read about 10 pages.

I renamed the services.jar just as explained, and my clock remains, I'm fairly new to this stuff so I'm basically only following step by step instructions, no "figuring it out by trial" so to speak.

I'm using froyo 2.2. Any ideas would be helpful!

Can I use this w/ Kangerade 5.07? I am using bb 0.4 now, however swype doesn't work so I have to go back to that rom.

Taking a look at JRummy's Kanger 6.0.1 that was released tonight, may theme it this weekend if it is a stable ROM...I don't go backwards and send the time on older versions.

Thanks. Apparently that's a test ROM and it hasn't been released to the public yet.

Is there a way to remove the "droid does" from the dropdown notification?

Just wonderin, don't know if its been asked already. I'm currently on the FRG01B deodexed build of froyo. Let's say I download the black glass theme for it but then wanna go back to the stock theme for whatever reason....how would I do it on this particular rom without having to do a full restore of a nandroid backup???? Because I see a back to stock them for the earlier build but not this one(don't mean to sound pushy). Thanks for the help as always.

Doesn't have a white clock and I have been looking around for answers on this thread but I couldn't find any for my version. Thanks in advance for your help.

Absolutely love this theme but put the FRG01b-Deodexed(i think that's the right one?) over Kangerade 6.0.11 and my phone absolutely was nuts, lock screen was crazy looking and then when I held down the power button my menu was crazy looking and no option for boot to recovery. So i flashed my nandroid. Did I use the wrong theme?

Did this ever get done? just curious cause I love you theme and I love J Rummy's Rom, but that white status bar has got to go, god i hate that thing. Was using UD 4.0 but way to many redraws so back to Kangerade for me.

928Droid Black Glass Update/Patch Files - Compatible with all Themes/ROMS!

928Droid "Black Glass" Maps 4.4 and Twitter 1.0.2 Update/Patch File

OK for ALL 928Droid Black Glass Themes!

Download Link and Detail in Post #1

Note: If you already updated your Maps and Twitter apps via the Market (or elsewhere) you MUST uninstall them BEFORE applying this Patch/Update. This copies Maps.apk and Twitter.apk to the system/app folder (same location as all my Theme Update zips)

This was probably already asked on this thread, but there's no way I can go through 84 pages right now looking for it;

Is it normal for the notification messages to have black text so you can't read it against the black background? I'm not talking about the pull-down notifications, they're white and legible. I'm talking about the scrolling messages like when you get a Gtalk/txt message and it gives you a little scrolling preview up top in the notification bar. They have black text and I can't read it. Not a big deal, but it's annoying, still.

I'm running SS 4.5 and used the specific theme for SS4.5 listed on the main page. I installed it with ClockworkMod Recovery. Everything is perfect except for the text there :(.

Thanks in advance! You're awesome, Dave!

Edit: Ooooh, just noticed the thread title. So I have to use metamorph to revert back to the vanilla Android theme before I apply this? I've tried using MM before, but couldn't get it to recognize a theme file for some reason. I had the standard SS/Blue theme before installing this theme. If this is true, where can I get the vanilla MM theme before I flash this?

Edit 2: Also, is there any way I can change the transparent dialer and contacts list stuff back to the original/opaque black blackground..? I have a light wallpaper and it makes my contacts harder to see. Thanks again!
