I'm not sure if it's been answered but what if I'm running a rom that's based off frg22 like liquid's forzen yogurt. would the frg22d theme work????

Try it, if it does work and you don't loose any "Custom ROM" features...they I guess it is OK.

This is the FIRST theme that I have ever installed on my recently rooted Droid of 8 mos., and so far it looks like the best! So slick and professional looking, even my snobby i*hone colleagues were impressed. Should be the default theme for future Droids.

help with gmail app

Hey I'm new to this site but been browsing for awhile now, well at least since i got my droid a few months ago lol

Anyway, I recently rooted my moto droid using the FRG22D and installed this black glass theme. My quiestion is how do I re-install the Gmail app or just remove it completely? I don't use it but I hate seeing the FC issue. Any help is appreciated!

hey 928droid, i noticed after installing the new frg22D theme, on my newly updated frg22D deoxed/busybox etc etc, and found that there were a few things unthemed, like the battery, and during phone calls are un themed as well, unlike the previous theme you had up...just wondering if thats how its supposed to be or somethign went wrong? maybe i should try applying it again?

Use Titanium Backup to Wipe Data for just the Gmail app, this will get rid of the FCs, it is because you have data fro the older Gmail app and it is causing a conflict. ALso you can use the same app to unistall it if you like. You can also use Root Explorer to go to System/app and delate the Gmail.apk file.

Is it possible to get a mirror for these? I tried downloading the Simply Stunning one, but the download failed and now the link the start the download instead refreshes the page... not quite sure what's going on, but the website's messing up.

EDIT: I sucked it up and tried downloading in in Internet Explorer, and it worked.

I hate IE so much. I feel like I need to take a shower now.

I've never used a cynogenmod rom, but I'm going to give them a try. I've only used jrummy and bb. Looking forward to a new ROM and always a sweet theme!

does it really say droid does in the notification window all the time? probably the deciding factor thats keeping me from downloading this theme.

Yes, but if you're on a ROM that allows custom status bar like CM you can always change it. I wasn't crazy about it at first but this theme is by far the best out there. Make a backup and try it out, you won't regret it...and if you do, just restore your backup.

status bar pulldown is worse than i expected. font colors didnt change apparently so all fonts were black on a black bg, changing it manually now. How exactly do you get rid of the droid does logo crap, using cyanogen 6 final. honestly i dont get why theme creators put logos and stupid lettering in random places especially in the status bar. it really puts me off from their themes. the droid does message is also in the search bar for some reason. good work otherwise though, this theme is nice, was using revolution theme before but dunno if this is better.
