Guess you didn't like my battery icons then...lol

The Battery Icons look great...but to be honest Battery Icons are a thorn in my side...no matter what I use someone complains about it...it boggles my mind that people are so obsessed with something so small and insignificant on a Phone. While your Icons look great in the shots you posted, the only real time you can see them that well is when you do a screen cap...from my experiance the kind of detail you did just doesn't show on the phone in real time anyway, especaily on a dark/black background.

On top of that, a quick search in the Theme Forum and you can find a gizzilion MetaMorph Battery Status Themes, people need to go find what they want and change it to that. I have thrown in the towel on Battery Status Icons and they are staying he way they are now.

Also as pointed out by a few people that ones with Text on them rarely match the actual battery status on the Droid X so it is best to not have text on them to avoid confusion anyway, hence my change to no text.

OH, did I mention I am half blind...so maybe that is my real issue with battery Status Icons, HA, HA J/K!!!

It's all good man. They actually look GREAT on my phone even with my dark background. And I'm one of those guys that appreciates the small details so I'll keep them loaded on mine.

No it's not themed, the one posted on XDA is awesome I thought that Dave had done it, it's a total match.

I have the file but can't install it, tried everything I know today too, I'm sure it's a simple process and I overlooked something.

For all those that want this total match to the Black Glass X until 928 Droid gets Swype updated in his next release? may or may not? Here is the link and details on getting the Red Theme Swype. All credit goes to the XDA developer for this Swype, I'm just providing a link.

Thanks for the link. I just downloaded and installed the red theme Swype. This is a great looking keyboard and much improved over that flat, pale looking keyboard.

That is the correct apk. I cannot get it to load on the odexed version. Is it because of another dependency that I might have disabled?

No believe it or not it is all because of one single 1x24 pixel image file.....sometimes apks are really funny... I can change every image file in them, but on certain occasions if I touch a certain one it will break the whole app..

I spent until late last night going back to a stock version and adding one modified image file at a time, then pushing the apk to my phone, testing it with the one image change, and then adding another imge file and doing the same test over and over with each image file.... of course it was the last of 50+ image files that caused the issue....Murphy's Law kind of deal. Some of you guys have no clue what it takes to make this stuff work right sometimes...BUT, I love the challenge...it makes my brain work!!!!

What was even funnier is I thought it was just broke on my phone from all the changes and I do (sometimes I force feed 60 apks at a time with Android Commander when the phone is on and running etc ). No one else had complained about it until someone tweeted me yesterday about it....I though it was just me...after that Tweet I was on a mission!!

I think that file I have disabled. Do you know what APK it is? I've "bak"'d most of them that I don't use.

Should be HomeSyncWizard.apk

I noticed it was broken on 2.2 DeOdexed r2, but I have it disabled anyway. I think i'll skip this update

Darn shame you are gonna miss the secret surprises I put updates sometimes.. :icon_eek:... You guys should poke around more in these updates....I have a sense of humor and do some funny stuff on occasion.

Yes, HomeSyncWizard... darn shame to disable that, it is a cool app... do you know you can use WiFi to transfer stuff between 2 Droid Xs or Droid 2s or a mixture of the 2, or via your home/office network ....not to mention all the MultiMedia stuff....Poor little app ain't hurting nothing, just turn the notifications off instead

Climbing on soapbox......It is funny how people with Droid Xs and Droid 2s are so intent on removing all these type apps....it's not like you have Droid 1 with only 256mb of internal storage.....ya got 8GB!!!!! Removing all the "bloatware" is a waste of time....other than getting the Icons out of the App drawer it accomplishes very little..maybe some memory usage, but a task killer can fix just those apps (don't recommend it for more than that). Instead of uninstalling them use Root Explorer and just rename them to ".bac" or ".apk1"...that way if you ever need them for whatever reason or when you get an update they are easy to restore....jumping off soapbox and putting on Nomex Suit..FIRE away

Anywho....gonna do the Odex version anyway in a few hours because I am pretty sure it is broken in it too...plus I can get the Odex version up to "r2b" specs

I can agree. I'm an extreme NOOB to the features that a droid has being that this is my first droid. I am, however, trying to customize it and maximize it's potential. I will play with the media share app some more later.

Heck I can't even read the clock on the LOCKSCREEN without my reading glasses!!! J/K (sort of)

I downloaded and installed the r2b theme for deodexed Froyo. Not sure what the differences are from the previous r2 update. Love the live Neural Network wallpaper, Twitter widget and Facebook widgets. Also got rid of the beautiful widgets for wifi, bluetooth, etc and replaced with black power bar and black airplane mode widget.

Keep up the good work 928Droid! This is truly the best theme for DX.

Well I'll be hitting my mid 30's this December. Although still young, I'm sure the majority of the community is in their late teens and early 20's.

And yes, your attention to detail is the reason I have your theme on my phone and not another... hehe

Too funny, I was just thinking about that.. the tough part is reverting my phone back to 2.1 from 2.2 to do it the way I normally do.

Since no one had mentioned it and the Download count for my 2.1 Theme was so low I didn't think anyone cared. Also had stopped since sure as heck if I did all that work then the Official OTA update would be released just as I got finished...once that happens my 2.1 Theme will be discontinued.

I will give it a shot "blind" and see what I can do. Give me a day or so...gotta work on some website stuff first.

FYI, the Messaging Widget must have been on "2x2" size, if you had gone bigger it would have had a white background... regardless that has been changed.

Concerning the update, I certainly would go for the 2.2 Leak.... besides all you wil have to do is run the SBF to get back to get to 2.1 to get the official release "when" it is released. Remember Moto has a history of delaying releases, there are already rumors the X 2.2 release has been pushed back weeks.
