[Theme] 928Droid Black Glass X for Droid X !!!

Is there something wrong with the time in the notification bar? Or did I miss something? It's got a grey background and kinda messes up the bars look. See attached. The previous theme I had didn't have this issue. Is it because I used to be deodexed and now I'm just Odexed?

Quick question....

I did a Nandroid backup already. About to install this theme...so when I rename it to "update" and copy it to my sd card, wont it ask me if I want to replace the "update" file thats there?
Then I imagine that the original "update" file is copied in the nandroid backup in case I need to restore it all back, right?

It's bad practive to leave a previous update.zip on the root of your SDcard. You should create a Folder called "Update Zips" , rename the previously used update.zip to something that reflects what it is (so you don't forget).

FYI, a Nandroid backup doesn't backup anything on the SDcard (other than apps installed in the secure area, if you have any there). So it is best to move the previous update.zip.

BTW, since you are using Clockwork recovery you don't have to rename the file to update.zip, just use scroll down a few lines to Choose zip from SDcard.

sweet....appreciate the info....then in this case I wouldnt need to relocate the original update zip then?
but you recommend this practice for future installs.....(?)

Yes, rename and move them, this will keep from accidentlly overwriting them AND keep you from accidently installing them by mistake.

Got it! I'm on it......

**EDIT**
MY MY MY!!! Nice! this was some really good work...my phone is sexy, all over again! LOL

928Droid Black Glass Maps v4.5 Patch/Update Zip released.

Available in the Droid X Downloads

Be sure to uninstall the Maps 4.5 Market Update first if you already downloaded/installed it.

Your upgrade isn't installing for me even after uninstalling the official update and rebooting the phone. Tried it both with Root Explorer and Astro. It just gives me an error of "Application Not Installed".

It is an update.zip .... install like a Theme Update.zip or ROM update.zip thru recovery.

OR, you can unzip the update file go to system/app inside of it , grab the Maps.apk ...AND then push it to system/app with Root Explorer.
