[Theme] 928Droid Black Glass X for Droid X !!!

Hey dave,
Just applied the latest release...time, as well as date are still in black. Not sure as to why...otherwise, like I've said before, just amazing work! Thank you.
You may want to look into this before official release.
anybody else experiencing this?
Thanks Dave

This seems to be a recurring issue with just you (excluding those that installed the DeOdexed theme on an Odexed ROM)... do me a quick favor, go to system/framework folder and look for services.jar and let me know the file size.

I wonder if I made an error with adb when I had to re root after the 2.3.13 update...but I really don't think so

Thanks dave

Try an experiment for me... reinstall the zip (make sure you have the latest version with "OZA" at the end of the filename) following these instructions exactly.

Reboot into Recovery,

Go to Mounts and Partitions Menu, highlight "Mount System" (should be first option)

Press the camera button once to mount the system...

Display should change to "UnMount System"...

then press the Power Button once to go back to the prior menu (leaving the system mounted)

Then install the Theme Zip as normal and see what happens.

When install is finished, press Power Button to get back to main screen and select reboot.

When rebooted (it should take longer than normal) see what color the clock is and let me know what ERI says(this normally says Verizon Wireless on a stock Droid).

Gonna try in 2 mins...just about to get home....basically same process as we had to use to install the 2.3.13 update...

Yes, BUT DO NOT FORMAT SYSTEM...you'll be sorry :-)

Dave, you ROCK!!!! I love this new theme. It is totally awesome!

Only thing I noticed is that the clock/date in the notification bar is black. I did follow your directions to the letter.

Install the Theme again just to be sure....... I have noticed a few issues like this but it goes away on the second install over top of the first.

new Deodexed bgx 2.3.13 Rocks!

Dave,

Nice work on the latest bgx release the r231 works great and I like that you added the google quick search and latest 4.5 gmaps into this zip. I have a quick question, although I've been deodexed on the original froyo leak 2.3.09 since it came out and. I have stayed on the original froyo 2.3.09 the weird part is after installing this new bgx r231 my system version changed as well updating it to 2.3.13 as if I had updated to the new froyo. Not that its a problem but any idea why it did that after installing bgx r231. Any thoughts.....

Thanks,

Thanks,

That is just because of the build.prop file in the Theme. BUT, all the apps in the new Theme are from 2.3.13, so basically you have it as much as we all can without the kernel etc.

I just reinstalled it for a third time and it's still black.

Too wierd.. can you get a screen cap of Root Explorer showing the framework files???
Dave,

I know that is is so weird??? Is there something particular you want me to capture form the framwork file size of.... If I cap all framework files I think its would be about 6 pics.

Thanks,

Just the area with services.jar and files above and below. and the same for framework-res.apk
