EDIT:

ok, so I think I know the answer here, but is it possible for my device to actually seem faster after loading this?

I had this on prior to 2.2 (was a bit of a pain to get off then) but liked it..just do NOT remember it actually making my phone 'punchier', but it seems it now!

hats off, great work!

How do I remove this theme? I have a theme killer zip and it didn't take it all off. I still have themed facebook, twitter, power control widgets and a few other random things. Any help to completely remove this entire theme would be awesome. THANKS!

I can't answer for all elements, but for the facebook and twitter you can just use Root Explorer, go to /system/app, and delete facebook.apk and twitter.apk. Reboot and the apps will be gone. You can then download facebook or twitter from the Market (if you used them) and they will be unthemed.

Black Glass X for Swiftkey Keyboard?

Droid928,

Being such a fan of Black Glass X and seeing such a great write up about your theme on Droid - Life. I would like to put a request in for Swiftkey keyboard with Black Glass theme. This has become a very popular keyboard and I acutully like it more then Swype and Multi, So was wondering if you could theme it and place in your next release or just theme it and place in your extras area on your website as you did with the launcher and google maps.

** If you do think this is possible maybe theme it just like the Sywpe red and black glass.

Thanks again for your continued dedication to the best theme for the Droid X. dancedroid

LOVE IT!! Got a couple of questions for you. 1. I am running LauncherPro. Whenever I reboot, I lose any custom icon that I have on any of the screens. How can I fix it so that doesn't happen? 2. I have the stock calander widget on my home screen in a 1x4. Whenever I rotate the screen, it cuts off any appts. I have. What do I need to do to fix that? 3. Whenever I pull the notification bar down, I can't see the date/time due to font color. Can this be changed to white?

1. Haven't seen that one.

2. Enlarge the widget. Blur widgets were not made to be viewed in landscape, as BlurHome is portrait only.

3. In this theme, notifications/date&time/clock are white. Maybe try reapplying the theme? Did you have a theme before? Sometimes files like framework-res.apk and services.jar don't overwrite if they have been previously themed/modded.

Thanks. I started a thread about rebuilding icons, but no answer yet there.
I have the screen locked to portrait so that isnt an issue. I like the small footprint I have it in, I guess I'll have to go a little larger to see if that fixes it.
I will try reinstalling the theme to see if the other issue goes away. Thanks again.

edit: I reinstalled the theme twice and the font colors in the notification bar are still unreadable. Could I have screwed up something?

Just as an FYI, they do do Landscape and after editing 20 files or so per widget just for Landscape mode...they were definitely made to be viewed that way.

Blur Home doesn't normaly do Landscape...BUT when you are in Dock mode (car or Desk) and exit to home it is in Landscape and so are the widgets.

BTW, Anybody else running the new "OTA" 2.3.13 leak yet??

P3Droid released it at MDW Saturday night, he made an update.zip version of the supposed final OTA release for the Droid X (no jumping thru hoops to install like last one). I have been running it since then. Yesterday Motorola started getting the file hosting companies to remove it so it must be pretty darn real.

I am toying with the idea of releasing a pre-themed version of it, but want to talk with P3 and DF Admin first.

I have the Theme ready for it, but am holding off because I am adding some more tweeks to it.

The only reason I said something is that I was a little surprised no one was bugging me for the Theme for it that past 2 days :-)
