[Theme] 928Droid Black Glass X for Droid X !!!

I updated to OTA 2.2. I should be able to install black glass odexed theme on this correct?

NO!! Not yet!

The currently available Odexed version is not up to date with 2.3.15!!! It will take your system apps and framework back to the 2.3.9 original leak version!

I am in the middle of Theming the Odexed OTA version 2.3.15 at the moment.

I will have it released later today.

Poke around in your new Froyo X for a few hours and by then the Theme will be ready for you! :)

Wait, so I should not deOdex?

I'm just going to be patient with this. Stay on my custom rom and this theme. Gibe everyone a week or two to get the roms and themes running correctly. And then do the routine of getting the official update. I jumped the gun on getting the leaked version of 2.2 already so a week or two more wont kill me. And my phone looks sick right now so not in a hurry to lose it or tinker with it for days again.

Yeah, wishing I had waited. That was my plan from the beginning. It's just so tempting, when you already have the SBF and everything right there and it only takes ten minutes....

Patience Fail.

Help!

I just downloaded the official 2.2 after I did a sbf and didn't think it worked so I did another sbf and after it was done and read sw complete on the phone where it normally shows the moto icon and then droid eye annimation... It said boatloader error and stays stuck there?? I have tried redoing spf and it fails on me along with stilling displaying this bootloader error with a few different codes listed. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated hope I don't have a brick for a phone now

Thanks,

Thanks,

From what I have read you have unfortunately created a REAL Bricked Droid X, sorry. I am afraid you will have to take an Offical Verizon Store and have them flash it with the 2.2 SBF to recover.

For everyone else ... DO NOT USE THE 2.1 SBF after installing the 2.2 OTA Update. From all the Tweets I have read so far it WILL brick the phone and it is unrecoverable without a 2.2 SBF (which hasn't been leaked yet).

This wrosk with Epic Unleasheed rom d2 right?

Made for Stock ROMs only...some say it works with Epic, others say it doesn't...until I do a version specifically for EPIC....all bets are off and you are on your own.

Now that the Official Froyo is here and all this Froyo Leak version stuff silly season is over, I can get started on creating my Theme for some of the more popular Custom DX Roms.

Oh that is not the most exciting news. So do they have the 2.2 SPF recovery at the official Verizon stores. I don't want to go in there and be looked at like they don't know what I'm talking about??

Thanks,

Just wanted to say thanks for your work on this! I just installed it on 2.3.9 running FlyX v1.

Just a minor issue though:

I downloaded 928DroidBlackGlassX-ADWLauncher-v115-Patch.zip and installed it (my Droid X didn't have ADW on it before) and in the ADW info it says it's version 1.1.4 Standalone. Do I need to remove it again to get version 1.1.5 and then reinstall?

FWIW the download link on your site is the same filesize as the one included in the main theme zip.
