Stock keyboard is LatinIme.apk the new one is LatinImeGoogle.apk

No, they are both gold. I think the google one is multi-touch. Like what the D2 has.

ok thank you, well i was doing some messing around the other day and came up with some pretty cool results with the keyboard, if it comes out like i think it will ill post a screenshot

Mbk.. yes. The difference between the one they could use and this one is... I made those jog_dial arrows transpaernt and I also used 7zip to pull out the progress_horizontal.xml. I edited it with a hex editor and then stuck it back in.

Why are you remodding those?... just curious as to why you feel that might be what's causing them the problem installing???

I don't think it the cause at all but I don't know why only these two can't install it and I gotta sart somewhere

And the reason I modded the jog_dial arrows is because I personally don't like them. They are kind of clunky and they make me feel like a 5 year old by telling me how to answer my phone. Just a personal thing I guess.

I see.... And you certain that you're editing the progress_horizontal.xml correctly via the hex editor? ... or is that also just you trying to change the color back to stock UD red??

I opened up the file with the hex, did my standard 08 00 00 1c search. Left the 1st ones alone and edited the 3rd 4th 5th and 6th ones with my backwards code. Example.. I used standard hex D28F2A so in the hex it looks like 2A 8F D2 FF

You don't edit them while decompiled?... that way you don't need to use an hex editor...

No I edit them while decomplied. I just screwed that one up so I decided to just fix it and stick it back in. That is why I was telling segdoh earlier in the thread that if we couldn't get his issue resolved, I was going to completely redo the framework from scratch since once I put my images in, I can't recompile the theme due to the .9.png files.

And yes, the OP is the latest

I see.... you were just taking a stab as to why segdoh couldn't install, and was gueesing it had something to do with the progress-horizontal....

Well it may have to do with what theme he had prior since you are putting the -v4 on your drawable folders like some of the others... I just tried installing yours over mine and it FC'd like crazy... will nandroid back to stock UDv2.0.0 and then try to apply your theme.... but it is more than likely due to your version of APKManager and the added -v4

What version of APK manager should I be using? Currently I am at Version 4.8. Also, I have though greatly about taking the -v4 off but I was unsure how it would effect the ROM
