[THEME] New Theme! 1st ROM, 1st time seen... CHROME! For UD 2.1

Here is a screenshot with one of my wallpapers. I made an icon for the Gmob 365 app (its the cat). I still have to clean it up and try to figure out how to get that chrome shine. I tryed using curve in Gimp but that didn't help much. Hey X, you will have to share your secrets with me. lol I want to make the majority of my apps chrome to match the theme but i haven't even figured out how to extract the icon images yet. How I do it now is by taking a screenshot and cutting out all of the parts that I don't want and then color it. :blackdroid:

Just longpress on the apk file thats installed on your phone and do "view" or whatever... go into the drawables folder (usuallly where it is) and find the icon.png or app_icon.png file.

Hopefully it better 
I try to improve stuff each time I have to redo (or in this case, make) a theme and then go back and put that stuff in the other ones. Hopefully tonight, now that I got this running right, I can make an installable ADW theme so you don't have to mess with setting up each icon individually.

I generally just leave them on there till the update is good enough to upgrade to. If I do update, I try to keep it simple (but you know me). Just pull all the images, merge mine in and then look for new ones and edit them. Then shove it back out to my phone.
For each theme, I have a folder on my comp.. Red, Gold, Chrome inside the folders are more folders named after the apps.. settings, phone, gmail, etc... and inside there are each apps drawable-hdpi etc.. folders. That way, when something new comes out, I can merge em pretty quick. Having 2 monitors comes in hady too. Lot easier to see what you are doing.

Is it really worth upgrading to 2.3? Could that much be changed since the release of 2.1?

bigjon.. I wil keep up with 2.3. As far as changes, if it follows the nightlies, the 2.0 dialer will be back, gestures will be in (dunno what they are) and a new lockscreen choice that, while not rotary, it looks cool and I will probably be using it. So I will theme rotary and that one from now on.

Thats exactly why I am excited about 2.3.. All 3 of those features are features I really like...
