Does anybody's Gmail icons show up as red using the Nextheme? Mine originally was red but when I updated Gmail the icon and notification icon went back to stock.

Bump. Anybody got any solutions?

Still waiting myself and hoping for a solution. I have the same problem with messaging. I use "text messaging". I have been trying to do the ninja morph and I cannot get the mms to show the proper green icon. Driving me nuts.

I have looked in the theme itself and the proper notification icons are in there, but they are not showing up in the notification bar. I want to mess around, but am on my 3rd day and I'm losing my mind.

Do you need to make changes to the framework.apk? Man, this is killing me. I wish I was a hopped up hippie and then maybe I wouldn't care. No offense to any hopped up hippies out there by the way.

UPDATE: For poops and giggles, I installed another ROM and theme and was able to modify notification icons. However, the problem with that is that it's not Fab's. That's a big problem. Now I have officially made myself loco.

All you have to do is install it after installing 1.3.1

Question for Fab (or anyone else who can tackle this):

I like BlackJuice's Blue Mod for the Handcent keyboard (Turns keys blue/black obviously).... is this compatible????

I had used this prior on rubiX Focused 1.9.0 and really liked it. That was pre-OTA update though. So I'm unsure if it would corrupt anything in this ROM. If it would, it's stayin' off. Apex is awesome!

All you need to do is run the script to select the default message app and then disable notification for default alert and then Handcent should be only notification.

Also you could use the uninstall script to remove both default apps and Handcent will be the default.

If you have Titanium Backup pro you can "freeze" the message app you don't want. That's was the easiest for me.

Also you could use the uninstall script to remove both default apps and Handcent will be the default.

Thanks, but I am not sure how to use the script. My husband is trying to walk me through it over the phone. He told me to just leave and he would fix it once he gets home. I want to be able to show him that I did it.
