Themes For ApeX 1.4.x (2/21/11)

I just installed your Apex Gingerbread and really like it. Trouble is, my Droid X Overclock v.1.9.9 loads, but instant FC when trying to use overclock. Any ideas? Thx! Donated

Go to "Manage Applications" find Droid Overclock and hit the "Clear Data" button, and then the"Force Close" button. Restart the app and hopefully all will be well. Worked for me.

Hi, you helped me with the overclock not working problem, I can't get K-9 mail to except my user name password since installing Fabolous_ApeX_V1_3_0.zip(Gingerbread).zip. I wouldn't bother with it except that the native Gmail app on my DX doesn't delete mail on the server when it is deleted on the cell. K-9 would do it when I used it before. ??

Try installing through bootstrap. Honestly, ROM manager is useless for the X because of it. I've used ROM manager exactly one time since I've had my phone...

same here.. rom mgr never worked well for me.
i use the bootstrap all the time. no problems.

I'll try that, but in my opinon Rom manager just makes things more simple for you...

Now when I use bootstrap do I hit Bootstrap Recovery and Reboot recovery everytime? Or just hit Reboot recovery?

that's what i do.. just to be safe and make sure it actually boots into recovery.

sometimes simple isn't better.. I think it's better to know what's going on with your phone and how something is done instead of just letting it go automatically.

Yea your right, but sometimes that can backfire if you're not a 100 percent in what you do yet. Thats why they design programs to do it for you, but of course we got the lovely bugs and kinks to em...

i have a series of png files in ina folder called gingerbreadiconpack in my ApeX folder on my sd card. is there a way to set these as the default images for the various app buttons or just use the ADW icon replace where applicable?

Someone correct me if im wrong, but you need to change these out manually using an app called 'Better cut'. Its a paid app

Tron Theme is a Definite..Rola will happily grant permission I think. he just dropped it for Tranq 3.6 but there's a lil bit of issues that need to be ironed out. Once done though its gonna be sik. Now Tron w/Apex..OMG!!! too many Great rom/themes combo to choose from. TrQ3.6/TRron, Apex 1.3.1/Tron, Rubix 1.90/Tron, and DarkSlide 4.1/tron. The Devs and themers are spectacular in this community and very Well appreciated.
