Those with the official ota need some feedback

I have had the update since 5pm yesterday and as far as I can tell no random reboots plus I can say better battery life for sure.

I haven't had a single problem with my TB except for the 4G not staying connected. I did notice that some of the colors are different and brighter and my GPS says I'm in Jupiter Florida instead of Corsica or Malta last week according to my phone I was in Berlin...lol Verizon store reps were no help

As far as I am concerned the only reason they got this update out now was to have the popup launch when you use the hotspot feature telling you that you are going to have to pay in a few days. I dont use all of the facebook twitter stuff so I cant comment on whether that works better or not. I see no discernible difference with the phone in any other regard.

I have had two reboots in the last 12hrs since the update. I have also had to reboot it twice my self. Once because the internet was not working and once because the phone was acting up.

If you all have problems I would call verizon. When I called the tech said that there were no complaints about random rebooted with the new firmware.

I am of the belief that Verizon employees are instructed to ALWAYS say they have never heard of any problems. I have never once talked with a Verizon employee that has ever heard of a problem... LOL

Seriously... Most often you are able to get better information from searching these forums to get reliable information from fellow owners. And even that takes some experience in filtering... :) There are some good Verizon techs out there that know what they are doing but sometimes you have to go through a few to find them.

I have not had any issues with the leaked radio, and I am really curious to see if someone figures out what is causing the issue for so many. There are those that have issues that are both rooted and non-rooted. Also those that have no issues rooted or non-rooted.

But the fact that there are people that don't have issues with random rebooting makes me think there has to be a simple solution.

Actually there is some truth to that. When I asked about the hotspot plan I was told that the next update will basically stop tethering after the may 17th date.

I updated yesterday evening & I just got a reboot for the first time this morning also my GPS still is'nt fixed I am not getting an exact location its still not accurate.

Unpluged at 4am, Just hit 15% with the TB just sitting here on the desk.....8.5hrs :/

Well there are 2 ways you can approach this.

1) rom

2) turn off background data, turn off phone data when not in use. Get an extended battery, and lock on 3g until you really need to use lte. All that minus the extended battery should get you 10-12.5 hours.

or combine 1 & 2 for ultimate battery life.

Soo basically don't use your phone. Might as well take the battery out too.
