Thunderbolt review from a skeptic.

From what I understand, the prolonged boot time is in part the phone trying to "ping" the 4g network... from what I was told, this is the equivalent of dialing *228 from a 3g phone and eliminates the need for TB users on 4g from having to dial *228 anymore. That being said, that could have just been the VZW rep trying to make me feel better about the prolonged boot time so that I wouldn't cancel my purchase! Anyone with knowledge on the subject care to confirm or refute that? Inquiring minds want to know!

I'm lost as to how you paid $880 OTD for the phone, the full retail price is $599 at Verizon.
