I took the phone back earlier today and still having data issues with my phone. When I took it back the verizon rep was looking at it and boom the data drop happens. And he also notices the phone wasn't picking up the 4g at there store where I would usually get full bar 4g. Well after they gave me a new phone but with the same SIM card I am still getting no data and constant drops even in 3g LOL... And yes, I already updated my new phone with 4.0.2. So if they don't fix the issue I am either going back to the Rezound where I didn't get any data drops at all or trying out the Razr. Overall that is my only compliant about the phone.

I can't complain about the speeds of my 4g :D

You must have 4g then. I sure have not had it all day. When I did for a few seconds it was 1 bar. I can't even hold 3g. I am one to try and work things out and give as much benefit of the doubt as possible but so far my first day in regards to 3g or 4g is the worst I have ever experienced on ANY phone.

If it were not for my wi-fi I would not have had a working phone today.

I am going to see what happens tomorrow but at the moment it is looking like this phone is a dud.

And to be honest I'm not sure I'm completely digging ICS. The new features are nice but everything is in different spots depending on where you are or what app you are in. If you use a different launcher it puts many things back to normal though. Another thing I miss is the ability to turn off all animations. I want speed, not fancy animations and I always turn that stuff off. But so far it is not possible in ICS.

I'm all for trying to enjoy my new phone, but at the moment I am just speaking the truth out of a bit of "no 3g or 4g data" frustration.

As far as the battery goes I used almost my entire battery in an hour and a half just surfing the web on wi-fi. Ouch....

Glad I am not the only one having problems. I think this phone might be a dud or we just got bad phones. I am willing to give it another day and see what happens. If not, I might just try out the razr.

I read in another post that you can turn off animations under settings- developer options.

So far after whatever the verizon tech did over the phone helped no data drops yet my fingers are crossed

What'd he have you do?

He had me pull batt and 4g card and he done something while it was out and it hasn't dropped since he said the phone should get better once it figures my area out

Hey Prowler85, excellent choices of phones! :p

Well, you know what they say.....actually, I have no idea what they say. But wasn't that the way the upgrade path was supposed to go, especially for people that are AWESOME!?? ;)
