Are you using a ULV? I have no idea why, but THE SAME thing happened for me with a Chevy ULV on UD 8.0 (among other issues...EVERYTHING FCed constantly). Auto-retrieve failed on 50% of my apps, and manual only worked occasionally. Wiped again and reinstalled and got worse. After everything fell apart, switched to Chevy LV and no issues at all.

It may be pure coincidence but I'd rather TRY to help than not. Best of luck.

No I am running the kernel that came with UD 8. It Wont pull any of my apps and acts like I never purchased any. Hmmm strange

go back one page and since you are running ud8 now just follow directions as if you were running ud 7

I made a complete backup before I installed and did a full wipe of data cache etc and then install went great.

Only issue I have is that none of my apps show up period.......even after about a 30 min wait. I manually search in the market and I click download and it has an error failed to download app etc. On purchased apps in the market it shows up with a buy button and not purchased. Any ideas?

I reverted back to my backup and just installed UD 8.0 over the top of vanilla 2.2 and everything works for the most part but it doesn't seem as fast. Any help guys?

i can't switch the wallpaper from the gray UD wallpaper. Nothing happens when I choose a new image. Any ideas?

I was having that prob at first, too. If you reboot, when it comes back up, the new wallpaper should be displayed... but anytime you want to change it, it'll revert back to the original UD paper, and then you have to reboot again for the new one to show up.

But...

My boyfriend has an Eris, and just got CELBFroyo, and it has the Cyanogen Papers built in. I wanted those papers. So I went into that ROM, snatched the *.apk out of it, and installed it on my Droid. Not only do I have the cool ass Cyanogen Wallpapers.... but... that wallpaper bug seemed to get fixed in the process! Now I can change to any wallpaper (Cyanogen, Live, Gallery) without it reverting back to the UD paper and without having to reboot.

I suggest trying this and seeing what happens for you... plus you get all the cool wallpapers.

As for myself... This is the latest ROM I've tried... and I've had a FEW random reboot issues. I think it's because I only did one wipe of data and cache before flashing. I should've done two. But other than that... it's fast, and I like all the scripts included. Easy to access, and they do exactly what they say they will. i havent been keeping up with the droid world to well lately. have there been new kernals to go with this? im still on an old kernal, it seems to work fine but if there is new and better, let me know.

Not sure if this has been addressed yet but I'm having force close issues and my native browser is all but useless. Anyone else having issues with this or anyone have any ideas on how to deal with this? I love this rom other than that and I want to continue to use it but if I can't get this resolved I may have to switch back to my old rom.

These releases have gotten consistently worse and worse with each release after version 5. Everything Force closes now and I cannot get a data signal no matter what I do. Thinking of going back to stock until I can get my hands on the incredible somehow.

I'm having a similar issue. The only difference is I can select a new wallpaper and it displays, but the lockscreen displays the gray UD wallpaper until I reboot.

i see in the features that you can long press the volume keys to switch songs when the screen is off and long press the camera button to play/pause. but when i try doing it, nothing happens. is there something i need to enable to get this to work?

also, the features also say i can customize my lockscreen, such as make part of it invisible. how do i do this?
