got a prob...did alot of research and found ur rom was comparable to BB's (not offending anyone) an while i waited on Pete's next release i decided to try urs. however ive run accross a probllem in which i cant get web anymore(im on cricket). i redid the settings per the usual and i still get my 3G symbol, but now web/mms/gps. plz help.

the only gripe i'm having is battery life on this rom. it's still great (about 19 hours), but its decreased from the previous version where i was getting 26+ on one charge. i find that the odd ultimatedroid versions give me great life, and the evens give me poor haha...maybe it'll improve again in v9.

thats kinda weird i aint never heard of anything like that before??? when i change mine they change instantly...

Quick question: every time i change wallpapers i have to reboot my phone in order to see the change. is this the way its supposed to be? just wondering...

i have the same problem. wallpapers dont change unless i reboot.

I was having the same wallpaper problems with launcherpro. I wiped and the problem went away. I didn't wipe when I first install ud8 and had a lot of little problems like this.

So if you haven't wiped then WIPE.

Does anyone know how the Dock audio options are supposed to work? When I am not in the multimedia dock, it does not allow me to change the audio options (it tells me no dock is connected). When I am in the dock, the audio option is grayed out.

I downloaded 8.0 to my Droid1 last night. I installed about 15 minutes ago and its still booting. Is this normal?

no, my initial boot was surprisingly quick, & we're going to need more info.

Well I guess this Rom was not meant to be run on my Droid. Getting constant force closes on launcherpro and beautiful widgets which is causing really long redraw times. It kind of stinks cause this Rom has some amazing features I really liked and when it did work it ran very smooth and snappy. I did a full wipe before coming to this Rom and I nave tried uninstalling launcherpro and BW and reinstalling them to no avail.

I've sampled a lot of ROMs since rooting my phone (BB, Cyanogen/Lithium), and never before have I had the pleasure of using such a well-put-together ROM. Bravo. Features are ENDLESS and all easily accessible. Everything is seamless and so fast I hardly have enough time to think about the next button I want before its ready to do it. Thanks and keep up the solid job.

Very much like what's been done with the 4 launcher options. Saves RAM not having all of them running. Is there any chance that we can expect something similar for messaging (stock/handcent/chomp)? I'd love to remove the stock Messaging app entirely in favor of Handcent.

7 screen launcher????

Hello, just installed this last night great ROM btw!!! I noticed when it first booted I had a total of 7 screens which I could swipe through, and below I could have 2 extra shortcuts one next to phone icon and one next to browser icon, but then I messed with the other launchers, and now I've lost the extra 2 screens I have only 5. How do I get the other 2 back? should I just wipe and reinstall the ROM???? Anyone else having this issue????

I have the same problem

Don't know if it is a coincidence but since installing UD8, I have been having issues with the app Pro Zoom Camera 5x not saving pics. It was working fine prior to install. Anyone have any ideas? Tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

UD 8.0.0 is doing exactly the same thing for me. Pro Zoom takes the shot. but then it does not save it. I have updated, but that didn't help. The photo does not appear anywhere on the SD card. Anybody else notice this?

I tried the Cytown phone app under "Modified Apps" and then decided to switch back.
Stock Phone App will not restore. It tries, but then FCs every time. Fixing permissions didn't help. Any ideas?
