Howdy gang (welcome back BD!)

Question, if most of my apps (102 of 138) are installed to my SD, what is the best way to back-up and restore?

Everything I've tried in the past puts apps internally and I run out of space in a hurry. I have TBU but i can't seem to get it to work right.

I haven't wiped since UD 5 and I really want to, but the thought of spending hours manually reinstalling apps turns me off.

Any suggestions?

Stupid question i'm sure, but i'm about to try this out and I've never ran a custom kernel before and i'm going to try it with this. Do I flash the kernel first THEN this, or this THEN the kernel?

Flash the ROM then the kernel.

First bug report...as with UD 7.0 I can't view content on Vevo.com and other websites unless I disable all ad blocking software. So I go to UD settings/quick commands and hit the "show all ads" tab...nothing happens...it just hangs...any suggestions?

the special lockscreen settings in an the security settings, they are the only settings that are seperate from the UD Settings but that will change soon, and I will check out the block ads command just to make sure, although they should be blocked by default.

You might want to make a backup after you install the ROM and before you install the kernel

Changing the "custom message" for the lockscrren in security and settings produces no result. Didn't in 7.0 either but I just edited the eri.xml file. Do I need to do that again?

Awesome ROM!!!!!! Had everything running great, then I thought I flashed a kernel, but ended up flashing a theme from a previous version... bootloop, and it figures, I am anal about making backups before I do ANYTHING, except this time. All is good, Im up and running again.
On a side note, I am a former smokemix theme user, does anyone have a recommendation for a comparable theme?

BTW, what custom Kernels work well with UD?

I like ChevyNo1's MV kernel, for some reason on Froyo roms my phone doesn't like LV kernels above 800Mhz anymore, on the old 2.1 roms and 2.01 roms I could run a 1.2Ghz LV all day long. P3's kernels are pretty good too...

Can someone explain how the led notifications settings work? Do I have to turn off the notifications from the actual app in order to make it work? I tried with Gmail, and I'm not getting LED at all...

It's crazy how you think BD has done it all and then he comes out with 8.0 haha...

Guess I know what I'm doing this weekend! Had Bugless Beast and didn't love it - switched to UD 7.0 ... can't wait to see these improvements!
