Do I need to reactivate before I apply the second file?

What do you mean by reactivate?

Oh, no, you don't have to do that. I think this is just a theme of some kind. Because he mentions flashing a theme over it and it's gone.

The install finished as well as the reactivation. My accounts are syncing so I'll add the additional file when everything completes.

Good to hear. On a side note, have you messed with the new Maps? I know there is a fix for it but I hear about people not having problems with it once they've flashed this mod. But, mine doesn't even zoom in enough to use any of the new features anyway. Any thoughts?

I looked at maps but it is off quite a bit. I'm not aware of any issue or fix at this time. Currently, I've lost my 3G connection so I need to get that fixed. I think I will try installing the second file to see if that corrects.

There is a fix for it in the MIUI section but people were talking about it being included in this second file. And delete telocationprovider.apk and that should solve your issue.

Deleting the telocationprovider.apk should've kept you from getting force closes. Some are reporting still having force closes after that but the second file might help. And I know RM is for ClockworkMod Recovery but I don't know if you can use the fix permissions feature even if you have SPR, never tried but people were saying that fixing permissions with RM fixed force closes as well.

Second file installed. New market app applied. All of my paid apps are installing but the phone still FC's. If that continues I will restore my backup of 12.3.2

The new market already comes with this mod Is it just the phone/launcher? I know you just booted all of this up but people were having force closes for extra blank screens as well. Fortunately, I'm not having any force closes.

Have you tried this link to fix the force close with the phone issue? http://www.droidforums.net/forum/team-d1-miui/108255-fix-12-18-dialer-fc-withouth-removing-telelocation-apk.html If that doesnt work and your having a hard time getting the telelocation.apk to delete and jrizzill's mod isn't workin, all i did to fix it was open up the 12.18 zip, deleted the telelocation.apk, rezip, and flash over the 12.18 beta.

Yes that is why I moved from 12.3.2 I could not get the market of Gmail to install. My maps is perfect but the phone still FC's. The launcher opens and I was able to call *228+ but when I try to dial a call it FC
