Like some others said maybe the reboots has to do with towers. I have solid 4G signal in my area and never had a reboot. However last week I went to friend graduation ceremony, the 4G signal wasn't strong in that area. So my phone flipped between 3G to 4G and even 1x. Then out of no where my phone had its first reboot ever. LOL
I am not addressing the LTE issues. I understand there will be problems on and off but all the other issues are not acceptable. This is the exact reason these companies no longer care as much because they know the masses can be swayed into it be acceptable.

I would like to challenge that article. I don't have "links" but if you wanna find out search the web. I believe Verizon chooses which of its phones carry the name Droid not the manufacturers hence Motorola not being the only one with Droid phones.

Cmon BnB!!! I am fairly certain that a "Droid" incredible and "Droid" incredible 2 are HTC phones as is one of the original Droids, the Droid Eris..
The last top-end VZW Android phone without Droid branding was the Galaxy S, and it also had issues... (GPS) now that Samsung has their issues in order and gets 4g it is a Droid Charge.
I experienced a few reboots immediately after the OTA update but I did a battery pull and all has been well since. Maybe it's because I work in IT and I don't expect everything to be perfect right off the shelf, but I still think this is a pretty amazing device. Even though my OG Droid was rock solid (stock) I doubt I would move back to it even if I WAS experiencing some of these TB issues. Do all consumers really expect brand new tech to work flawlessly immediately? I've seen brand new $2500 PCs that reboot or BSOD within a week. If you want a device that will never require a reboot and work 100% of the time with no maintenance go buy one of those rugged flip phones.
I guess for me the speed and power offsets the occasional glitch. Calling it trash and/or saying it should be a no brainer recall seems a bit drastic.
Remember there are people that are so nitpicky about their phones that they will check and return a phone for an exchange if there is one dead pixel in the entire screen.

+1 couldn't agree more. People overdramatize every issue with phones and I'm sure plenty issues are user related (i.e. downloading and installing apps like ATK, or 'antivirus' apps, or any other app that does something to the phone that it shouldn't.)

Your PC analogy is flawed. If a CPU maker put out a brand new line of PCs that BSoD within a week they would DEFINITELY issue a recall. I agree that some hiccups are to be expected, but to have so many for so long is unacceptable. If someone were to buy the TB as their FIRST smartphone, they would probably steer away from Android on all future devices... An iPhone, or an HTC WinMo 7 phone "just work" outta the box... Sure the iP4 had the "death grip" but Apple addressed that much faster than HTC or Verizon has even acknowledged that anything is wrong with the TB.
Also, apart from the Radio, what is "brand new" about the TB? Is the GPS new? That has issues... Is the speaker new? Because its awfully quiet...
Anyhow, I'm glad I got off the boat, but good luck with future updates.
