Verizon anounces the 2.1.605.5 OTA update

I've never had a phone with so many problems before...never again will I buy an HTC product.

I was warned not to buy an HTC phone but I didn't listen.....lesson learned.

Alright i got my update now. A lil over 13mb for my download. Didn't take long to DL and install. Guess its all about checking to see if it works.

Sorry, but I don't have to root my car. It's runs right just the way it is.

In this modern world where they can send a person to the moon and back ten times a phone shouldn't die in four hours. Or have any problems for that matter.

I haven't hacked my automobile to get better gas mileage. That root to solve your problems is the reason people are driven away from Android

+1 no need to root for your phone to be fixed and that is the bottom line. Its unacceptable. Thas like trying to fix a car that's a lemon.

What sucks with your Phone? I have heard a lot of complain about the TB, but I love mine. No issues at all or they are not that bad that it makes me go crazy..

so I guess what do you do with your phone that **** does not work??
I mean I use my phone to check all emails work and home, calendar, watch NFL mobile, and use subsonic to watch or listen to stuff on my home computer and do not have any real problems...

there is not much of lag even when stream movies and NFL network...

I love HTC sense in ways.. the biggest thing I hate is all the bull **** apps that I want gone... but other then that it works great...
would love to hear comments...

I just got my update.. I must say downloading the 143 mb file in 3 minutes on 4g is awesome!! I will let everyone know if any issues arise.

Having to have your phone brightness all the way down because if you don't, the battery will die in 4 hrs. Not being able to get e-mails as they come because it everything gets pushed in real time, the battery will die faster. The fact that my connection drops every minute and once again, trying to find connection will decrease my battery life.

Since last update, not getting voice mail notifications and well...i could keep going, but that's just a few things i hate bout this phone.

P.S downloading update right now, didn't get pushed to me. I did a manual search for updates.

Got the incremental update installed about 2 hours ago. The voicemail notification works now, although I edited the voicemail number to include my voicemail password and it is still not transmitting it, just the *86. I have noticed that the data network switching is much faster. When I walk into my office building and it loses 4G, it switches to 1x or 3G (depending on how far inside the building I walk) and as soon as I walk near the window it immediately switches back to 4G. Prior to this, it would take anywhere from 15-30 seconds before it would pick up 4G again.

I also manually updated. Discovered new bloatware.. Google books and vz navigator for thunderbolt are now part of my apps..
