Verizon's Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Gets Lollipop Rollout Starting Today

My Verizon says it is activated. However, it is greyed out on my Note 4. The Advanced Calling is turned on. What am I doing wrong?
I experimented with it yesterday with my son at the other end.
We both have Note 4's on vzw.
He had a 4G signal and I had 3G, and the HD voice wouldn't work, nor would video call.
I went outside to obtain a 4G signal and both became available.

Correct. In order for voice over LTE to work, you have to be on LTE. :)

Are you on Verizon getting the no need to delete updates before freezing bloatware? That was something new on AT&T, didn't know if it was carrier specific or not.

I was forced to do a data reset (which I hate doing) because I forgot my damn password and my fingerprint wouldn't register.

Other than that, all is well....

Another APP that was installed and I CAN NOT delete is Facebook. WTF is up with that. I don't want it on my phone... irritated

Should I just factory reset and hope I can skip that being installed somehow or am I effed?

If it was installed with the update, a reset won't uninstall & reinstall it.

Looks pretty strong that Root is here...... I'm not a fan of the atmosphere where it's coming from so I'm not a Dev over there but I've heard from a pretty good source that it is/was working on KK and they felt good it would be usable on Lollipop

Note 4Tified

So far I like it. Seems snappy, everything seems to work ok... Been unplugged for 9 hours now, not too much screen time. but I did use it as an iPod for my headphones most of the day as I rode up in the Mtns... Battery is at 82% still, so that is pretty good.

Not too much to complain about really. I do wonder though, is this using ART now? I see that the option to choose between ART and Dalvik is gone now...

Just disable it in the app manager. You will never see it again.

I believe lollipop is ART only.
