Well I too have a Droid, running FRG22D, stock kernel @ 600MHz with SetCPU...and it doesn't overheat at all. So not all Droids experience the problems you mention.

That's not even the most important issue to me.
The issue is the horribly built keyboard. It will screw up again on this like-new one, if it isn't already crappy when it gets here.
I paid a lot of money for this phone and it is unacceptable.

Re-read post 10. The keyboard 'bubbling' occurs as a result of overheating.
