But this headset: Naztech Earpiece 3.5mm Stereo Headset with Mic for Cell Phones. I have my in call volume down to the lowest possible and it feels like I'm in a concert. I have to sets, and they both do it, so they will definitely let you hear what people are saying!!
What happened to this setting in the new Gingerbread Firmware 2.3.3?
Moving to EVRC-B improved my call quality significantly. Problem is that although I can enter the ##PROGRAM menu, option number 4 no longer allows me to change the VCODER to to revision B.
Any idea how to get to this setting?
I know that I can do it in FROOYO and then upgrade to the leaked Gingerbread. I however, want to enjoy the OTA Gingerbread which updates the radio to a new baseband and I fear it therefore will revert the device to revision A.
This does not appear to work on the Droid X2.
The ##PROGRAM gets you in the programming screen, but none of the
options have a way to change to EVRC-B in them (that I can find).

Sorry to say it sounds like your screwed. It may be possible still, but sounds like some one will have to hack it. Of course it is possible that the DX2 doesnt give the option because moto only programmed the phone to use ECRC or maybe EVRC-B
