Watermark'D General

I currently have a moto droid running stock 2.2 FRG01B build. It appears I have root access working and have ROM Manager. The link to "Watermark'D v3.11 CyanogenMod6.0.0-RC2" is only like a 20mb file. I'm assuming that's just the theme? So I need to snag the CyanogenMod6.0.0-RC2 ROM first from a different thread, and install that with ROM manager. Then once booted up and running I need to click on your "Watermark'D v3.11 CyanogenMod6.0.0-RC2" link and install that file through ROM Manager using the "install from sd card" option? ROM Manager knows that the second time it's just flashing the theme part? I apologize if this has been explained somewhere else.

If you have ROM Manager, you can update to 6.0.0RC from there. After it boots up, yes, place my file on your SD Card, go into ROM Manager again, hit "apply rom from sd card", choose my file, and let it do its thing.

I appreciate the quick response. I am going to give it a shot.

Just asking goes a long way. Don't just take. Heck, I was going to use the inverted facebook.apk that was out, asked, added to my phone... never used it. Just decided it wasn't for Watermark'D. Decided on a different direction. But, I wanted to ask first. Not post it up, ask later. That isn't my style, not how I do things.

i completely understand S1champ, did what you had to, but AHHHHHHHH it really grinds my gears! like the guys at spill say...i give this some ol' bs haha, il try to enjoy the most out of v3.0 until it becomes totally outdated compared to your future updates, btw watermark'd rocks

edit: nvm

what the hell? seriously? you take someone elses work and post it as your own on a different forum? well thanks for the theme when it was up stew

What's funny....

I was trying to be nice, and update the stuff, had my own thread there so they could reference a link for updates. I knew not many peeps who theme have one for UD. I did it to help out the community.

And yet he still "themes" it.

I hope the theme makers enjoy all their themes ported, regardless of if asked or not, because they sure as hell aren't getting any credit.

Alright, well I used ROM Manager to install CyanogenMod-6.0.0-Droid-RC2 build FRF84B. It installed fine and I'm running without any problems. Redownloaded ROM Manager once up and running, however when I use ROM Manager to "install rom from sd card" and choose WatermarkD3.11.zip it asks if I want to backup and wipe, I choose no because I haven't done anything yet. It reboots and I see my white moto symbol, it appears to reboot immediately again, and then I get the animated X boot animation and I'm back to the home. I am not seeing any new icons, my notifcation bar is still white, it's like nothing happened. Any suggestions on what to try? Thanks in advance.

Try this link....

I may have an issue with the theme file up, just no one reported it:

http://www.thememydroid.com/themes/WatermarkD3.1.zip - That is the version without Facebook added.
http://www.thememydroid.com/themes/WatermarkD2.9.zip - That is the version a step before that, with an even older Facebook apk.

Either way, you should have a black notification bar....

I just reinstalled 3.11, worked fine for me. Even re-themed the old Twitter I had up. So I know it went through. I had removed the icon...
