What is keeping the Nexus devices from taking the lead?

Roms and root used to be important to me but now dependability is where it's at.

Then my friend you have a very bright future ahead of you. Nexus 6 (running N) still going strong and same can be said about the note 5. And have not heard many complaints about the 6P, and we had a member have to deal with a cracked camera glass. So I expect the Note 6 to be awesome.

As far as wireless charging goes, this is the Verizon-branded Qi charger I have sitting on my nightstand. I love it's functionality...makes for easy drop-n-go of the phone for charging. It's great that I can just grab the phone in the dark and not worry about unplugging or lining it up with a charging port. Up until this past week, I was in an on-call rotation for my job and sometimes I would get those 3 am calls. Odd as it sounds, this little charging stand helped me get to the phone easier. Yes, I did fumble my phone sometimes before when it was on a corded charger for some of those stupid-o-clock in the morning calls.

I think if someone can put just a ridiculous processor/ ROM in a Nexus I will jump on it... I want a device that reacts when I tap on something. I don't want to have to wait a couple seconds for the phone to open simple tasks... I know it is just a phone but if I tap on a "share" feature in gallery I want it to open the options now... Not in 3 seconds.... If we can have these phones playing games that my laptop struggles with then it should be able to do the simple things easily... Maybe my Note 4 is just getting tired but it does drive me nuts.
I feel the same way, but the 6P is stout. The only lag I've experienced is with the Play Music app and I haven't seen anyone else with the issue, so I'm sure it's just me.
