What phone are you upgrading from?

Yet another launch day Bionic owner. Also, with extended battery. The battery in the S4 is just about the same size and should easily get me through the day the way my current extended battery driven Bionic does.

Bring it on........

Bionic for me. I've never owned a cell phone other than Motorola. StarTac -> Razer -> Rocker -> Original Droid -> Bionic. If this one is as sweet as I'm reading; I may jump. My best friend and I went on the Rock Legends Cruise II and he had a Galaxy S3 and I wasn't really knocked out. The plastic and Android wrapper were the culprits for me; I can probably live with these for the speed and cool features of the S4. I'm REALLY digging the 1080p 5 inch screen and camera reviews. Motorola never was known for taking good pics (understatement, LOL)

Any KNOWN release date? I can't find one in my searches.

THANKS

Droid 4.

I'm not sure if I will pay full price or wait until my upgrade (October, I think). I like my unlimited data but it would take me over 2 years to make up the difference in cost (if the S4 is $600 and the upgrade price is $200 - $400 cost difference/$15 per month savings on my plan) I would be paying between my current plan and the Share Everything plan . Meantime, kiddo is almost 13 and has a basic phone now, but not sure what the future holds for her data wise between now and then. If I get her a different phone before I make up the difference, I'll have to switch to Share Everything anyway. What do you guys and gals recommend? Am I missing anything?

iPhone4s,.... can't wait to get rid of it...went from the orginal Moto Droid to the iPhone...hate it!!!! Can't wait for Galaxy 4!!!! :icon_ banana:

Nobody should ever have to remove the back cover and swap a dead battery in the middle of the day. Word to the people at the drawing boards, these phones really aren't that big or heavy. If the phones were say 1 Millimeter thicker, how much more battery capacity could be built into the device?? And how much longer would the battery last on a single charge??
Motorola already has this figured out and proved it with the Razor Maxx HD. The other phone makers need to take a lesson from Motorola.

I agree..I actually am not a fan of phones getting thinner and increasing screen size so much.

4.5 inch screen 1080p with a 3500 mah battery would do for me. I don't need a 7mm thin phone. It actually makes it more difficult to carry the phone

My SCH-I535 will do just fine for another year plus, it's doing everything I need it to do and it does it splendidly, upgrading from an S3 to an S4 makes no sense, does the S4 have more features than the S3, yes it does, is it a significant jump, I say no. Logic says stick with the S3 at least till the S5 hits the shelves next year, by then who knows what other manufacturers have in store.

Similar - Original Moto Droid ==> iPhone 4 ==> iPhone 5 ==> Galaxy S4 as soon as Verizon decides they should launch it.

S3. I am slightly disappointed in Verizon again....... Ever other carrier is going to release this thing way sooner. Yet Verizon who claims to be the biggest and the best will making their customers wait while they load all their mostly useless bloat.
