What will i get if i warranty my bionic?

I just got of of an hour long phone call. They also said the update is scheduled for mid September & the first woman told me she saw that there is a known connection issue but the person she connected me to said she didn't know what the other girl was looking at but there's no known issues with the bionic and they can only replace it with another bionic. I tried all the sweet talk but it was useless. An hour of my life i will never get back.
 
this is ridiculous, I'm being told by this guy on the phone that there is no possible way to get another device even though I've had this device replaced going on four times. he said there is NO WAY to get another device that is not the d2g because it's motorola that services it. He would not escalate he wouldn't allow me to talk to another supervisor, he said if it's regarding the same thing you are asking me then I'm the end all be all there is no one else. I asked if I could speak with a supervisor regarding the service I was receiving and he accused me of saying service was bad because they would not replace the device. I said no service is bad because I'm being told two or three things by different reps... you are saying you could never possibly send a comparable device, and yet the last person I spoke with said it's entirely possible. this isn't right at all. he just kept going in circles so I told him I don't have the device with me so I can't do any troubleshooting and that I'd call back

he even told me he was tier 2 and that he would not escalate me if it was about getting a different device. he refused and told me if I wanted to speak with a supervisor it would take 24 to 72 hours...

I have NEVER had this kind of an issue... I was even nice, the guy even went so far as to call motorola and have them explain to me that they wouldn't give me a replacement of another device that wasn't a d2g

what a <censored>... guess I'll try again later...

The girl told me there was an update coming out to fix all the problems in mid-September and I told her ice cream Sandwich was supposed to be out months ago and it was promised by the beginning of this month. Then she told me that it said specifically in her database at the bionic has connection issues and that she agreed with me you wouldn't want another one of the same device when it has known issues on all of them and then the next lady I talked to said that she didn't know where that girl was looking but nowhere in their database does there say anything about any connection problems with the bionic it does not exist. I asked if there was any possibility that they be out of stock and have to give me a different phone and she said no they have plenty and then I said lots of people online called in my situation and they got a Nexus or a razr or a Rezound , something similar in price But she said there is absolutely no possibility that I can get anything except I replacement Bionic. She suggested that whenever my data goes out throughout the day to do a battery pull and a Sim card pull and just hope that works

so he can replace it... now granted it's worth pretty much nothing but it was a flagship for a while... therefore he could easily give me a d4 or nexus.

so now when I call back I'm prepared for war

Lmao u should have left the trade out they dont check to see if u have a warranty lmao i share 1 warranty between two bionics a D4 an a razr i just activate it on my single line before calling in now u have to wait about 2 weeks
 
U just got to know how to work them i have gotten 2 razrs an 2 D4s out of them by giving them my bionic so far an then asked for my bionic back ;)

Dont mention anything about trading a device talk to tier 2 tech or superv not a rep or superv in customer care make up alot of problems with the the phone ie bad update softbricked the phone, constant reboots very important u must have at least 4 to 5 replacements for the phone or 8 logged calls to tech support within 3 days an ask for a replacement try to talk to a superv if u feel like u are going nowhere also dont ask for the best phone find a compromise for the bionic currently the only phones for a compromise are the Gnex, razr and D4 maybe a Maxx if ur lucky best bet is a phone atleast 3 months old also be persistent dont take no for an answer an dont waste ur time with reps that are idiots an trust me u will know if they are idiots or not last beeeeee polite dont get rude at all even if they are upsetting u an sound as convincing as possible so have a rock solid story an complaints before calling :)

I'll try high and settle, anything is better then getting messed up d2g forever. My brother is mailing the phone to me so I'll start calling them now. Do i just bs them about going through their steps. Each time they've told me they haven't seen a recent factory reset.
