When is official ics going to hit my phone?

Nothing else for me to do other than flashing it in stock recovery...

If you have a lot of music you should move them temporarily to your PC as you can take a lot of time with updating media. Also clear your cache when done.

I got that error and it was due to forever root. I removed it and the install completed fine. Could also be caused by other system files having been changed or deleted.

Well that sucks, I haven't done anything since the 905 update. So now its anyones guess!? Great. I hate this phone

Alright guys. So I finally gave up waiting and went out and bought a Micro SD card for about $8. Sad thing about it is that it's only a 4GB. But anyway, I'm so glad I did. Downloaded the file linked by user brom, copied the zip file from my internal storage onto my sd card, booted into recovery mode, selected to update from sdcard and vuola! Took about 10-15 minutes to fully update. Could not be any happier!

I had same error yesterday. Thanks to Sam I was able to get past it by following the NORSD directions in the HOB FAQ. Good luck.

The error is saying that your logwrapper file doesn't match the expected check. In my experience that is caused by having Bionic Bootstrap installed, but it could be some other mod. Bottom line, you need to undo whatever mod you did that altered your logwrapper file. Or just use the HoB, which flashes over all that with a clean system image.

I just can't get over how much better the phone is after the update. Everything is faster and smoother. Apps and games all load quicker and are so much more responsive. I'm falling in love all over again with my Bionic :)

Ahhh wish I had read the comment about moving music before I started it. :( Been going for an hour and a half now on upgrading Media database.:icon_eek:

Edit ~
Lol now its almost been three hours, should I be getting worried? I have a little over 9 GB's of music btw. I'm curious if anyone else has been through this setup and how much longer to expect?

I feel bad for those of you guys who have been going through such hassle in order to get .246. I'm on of those people who kept my Bionic unrooted on .905 since the last update back in June. This is my first Android phone which I upgraded from a Palm Pre Plus back in May for $99 without an SD card, which I regretted later because soon after, Verizon had this phone for free with a 2 year contract. Oh well, at least I was able to keep my unlimited data plan with makes up for it. For those of you who are just going to wait to receive the OTA, hang in there! And those having trouble with a few files here and there, keep looking for solutions because once you work around it, trust me, it's worth it!
