When Will the ThunderBolt Be Available for Purchase

This is getting ridiculous. I dont mean the forum of course, but rather the sheer tight lipped behavior of vzw. I mean, wow. Their iphone sales expectations are already WAY under the radar, and att has already launched its TB(the inspire 4g), and the atrix, with the infuse 4g on the way. Seriously, i dont meant to be a cry-baby, or a winer, but many of us have been waiting on this phone almost a year now. Its time big red... Dont make me buy a used dinc!!

Define "under the radar." Verizon iPhone sales are slightly low compared to, say, a new product launch from Apple. But I guarantee you they are selling more iPhones - to current and new subscribers - than they have any single Android device. Atrix and Inspire sales are a drop in the bucket compared to that. People - present company excluded of course - could care less about Android and 4G. They care about the iPhone, and that's how Verizon will get new subscribers. Most of those people, however, will wait to get out of their current contract or at least for the iPhone 5 (expected) this summer.

The Thunderbolt is not supposed to compete with the Inspire or the Atrix because no one is leaving Verizon specifically to get those phones; just like no one is leaving AT&T just for the Thunderbolt. I know, it's frustrating, and I'm as frustrated as you, but the iPhone is now Vz's breadwinner.

My local Verizon store is still sticking with the 28th as well.

just confirmed with 2 local vzw outlets and local bbm. 2-28. one even went so far as to say something like this. "the 2-24 was on the table, but i heard it was pulled to let us get more in stock." im sure thats alluring to the DX/Dinc shortage.

But anyways, I really wish I could get an Atrix on Verizon right about now...
Sick of waiting for something that had potential to be released over a month ago. It'd be a lot easier to cope with if Verizon actually kept us informed as to why it's being delayed...

Not gonna lie, this made me lol

But anyways, I definitely foresee this taking into March when we haven't heard a single word from Verizon yet other than the Thunderbolt being "much anticipated"

We have been civil and on topic this entire time - in this thread, and the previous one. I'm not sure why there's so much chest beating going on from the mods here. No one is doing is anything wrong. It was also clearly a threat, but hey, what do I know.

Yeah, I would be very suprised to see the TBolt drop this month with VZW playing it so close to the vest. Not really a big deal to me as I would have had to really scrape to get the money together right now, March will be cake though.
