When Will the ThunderBolt Be Available for Purchase

I would bet money that there is absolutely no accident that apple is debuting its new Thunderbolt technology and Verizon customers seeing no Thunderbolt or any word of one. I thing steve jobs just hit htc below the belt

If there is trademark dispute, can either product be released before the dispute is settled? What better way to squash a product then get into a trademark dispute. Something that could take months or years to get started. Tada.. iPhone 5 comes along and HTC still can't release the TB.

I'm someone who is moving FROM AT&T to Verizon and I'm wating for the TB to be released. Lets just say that after 2 years with the iPhone I wasn't impressed and things got worse as time went by.

Thats not true. It is indeed Intels technology. Apple is using it and as now is rebranding it as TB. I would say its def not by accident that they decided to call it this. The fact that Intel owns the technology and calls it under a different name widens the chances that Apple could be held lible for using the TB name.

they could, but they've already spent money on marketing and branding.

plus it's basically accepting defeat.

i don't see this as something that will come to fruition unless some how Apple gains rights to the name "Thunderbolt"

HTC/Verizon have had rights to the name since December. I don't see how there would be any dispute, other than the fact that Apple could use its never ending abyss of money to bribe judges and pay lawyers
