I can't believe you close a thread on the TB that's been up that long! I read that thread every day several times. Complete bs! You should not have the ability to close a door due to poor judgement.

Agreed...I enjoyed checking that thread at least 5 times an hour and you close it just like that? Complete garbage....

I must say, I am a bit upset about this as well. Bolt release date is still a hot topic, and will continue to until this thing drops. Many of us enjoyed posting in that thread. Kind of makes me feel unappreciated. :frown:

I mean why do the mods around here have to always be "flexing muscle". It's called a discussion for a reason. If you choose not the deal with it then don't click on the link to the thread. I get moderating a forum and shutting down or banning threats or insults or whatever but just shutting down a thread because YOU think it ran it's course is stupid. Kind of like a dictatorship.

i agree but it is what it is so move on noting we can do now but GET BACK ON TOPIC they still could drop it tomorrow and surprise everyone but the first firm date we were givin was st pats day so get over it anything before that is a bonus and if we are lucky we will know about it before most ppl

As for me, I'm foolishly still hoping for the 24th. Like a kid who refuses to believe Santa isn't real. If not tomorrow, either the.28th or the third.

No one is being disrespectful, we are just expressing our displeasure over closing a popular thread because it had "run its course". There shouldnt be anything wrong with that.

Well, I'm glad to say that I can finally lay the rumor mill to rest with some authoritative information. An old friend's neighbor's roommate once shopped at a Best Buy and he said that the Thunderbolt has been pushed back to an October 31st release date.

Now I'm really bummed.

Have any of the major Android sites posted about the delay? I dont think I have seen any of the sites who first said the 24th go on record about it not being accurate. i.e. droid-life, android central, bgr

Off topic, but it is a bummer that the previous thread was closed. I don't quite understand how moving a thread will prevent those that want to start trouble from doing so, but oh well
