also any information on how to flash back to stock froyo as i am on stock OTA gingerbread rooted ans would like the option of going back at some point..

The tether seems to work best on 340 froyo I made the linux .340 froyo cd night it puts ur phone back to completely stockand it was so easy no sbfing I was scared at first but it went great takes bout 10 mind just follow instructions hope that help oh then just z4 root n don't do ota upgrades unless u want

Cyanogenmod is da bomb. Seems to be best Rom out there for the X. MUIU is nice too, if you want an iPhone-like experience.

Id steer clear of CM7 til the bugs are ironed out, and it is final.
Apex RC3 right now seems to be on the top 3 IMO

I ran Apex RC 1 for a little bit. Did Fab fix the RC3 market bug?

Its not fixed stock. But if you use the dark market from B-boy like I did it works fine.

And its not that it doesn't work. You can download stuff just not purchase it.

I'm running the latest build of cm74dx-gb I haven't been able to send any emails via gmail app. Does anyone know a fix for this.

I've tried clearing app data & cache. Uninstalling it and re installing it, with no luck. Everything else works but when I try to send and email.....nothing.

Anyone know of a good ROM that is based on .602.....I was trying out Shuji ROM and thought it was pretty good, but within 2 hours it rebooted and tells me I have no service.....I was going to try the ApeX RC3 but wanted to see if there were any other good one's out there

Vortex is a great ROM. I was on Apex , but switched. Those would be my top 2 .602 based.

I just SBF'd to 602 and loaded MIUI 1.10.7. It's pretty slick but I'm not totally sold on the interface yet. Not sure how long I'll run it since I have Vortex 2.8 waiting to go on. I came from Liquid GB 2.6 which I liked very much but the battery life was pretty awful. I suppose I need to run MIUI for at least a day or so to get an idea of battery usage before trying Vortex.

Yeah, I just switched form MIUI, a few days ago wasn't to excited about it. They had some pretty cool features but nothing to keep me there. The battery life was about the same as CM7 on the GB kernel. I just tried Vortex this morning too, it seemed pretty smooth but just not my style. I guess CM just has me spoiled. So i'm back on that.

They have Liquid 3.0 on the GB now too you might want to check that out.

Got impatient and loaded Vortex. Even though I was looking for a blur based ROM for HDMI, Vortex just didn't do much for me. Back on MIUI 1.10.7 and it's starting to grow on me quite a bit. I'll sacrifice HDMI for interface usability. I'll have to d/l LGB 3.0 tonight and see what the deal is with that.

I'm running ICX and it is the fastest Blur based ROM I have found. HDMI works fine. Darkslide is a close second.

Can you flash ICX over another ROM or do you have to SBF to 602 and OTA update to 605?

You can flash it over .605. I don't think you can flash it over .602. I used the TBH .605 update from Froyo then flashed GB ROMs over it. You can flash any .596 or .602 based ROM over .605.
