Did you get battery callibration from the market and run it? Completely charge battery open app with phone still plugged in hit button let phone completely die and recharge.

I am also trying this one out. I also did drop 30 % in two hours. I have an extended battery too. I do the following though:

- corporate email (set to push)
- 2 gmail accounts (set to push)
- hooked up twitter and faceboook via social networking
- installed ROM TOOLBOX PRO by JRUMMY (previously the PRO Liberty Toolbox) and set disabled boot animations, and decreased the WIFI scan interval to scan every three minutes instead of every 90 secs.
- switched launcher to GO Launcher with GO Calendar widget
- installed AutoKiller Memory Manager and used Extreme Profile to always keeep 150 mbs of RAM free on the phone.
- install a Battery Monitor Widget which gave batt stats ,etc.

So like I said, doing all of this I was down about 30% early on and was getting emails, throughout the day so I randomly checked things. Phone was off charger about 6:30 am when i first was using and installing said items so I can see the drain from that. What i dont get is how by the time I left which was roughly 4:30 I had about 15% battery left and only from about 2 hours of screen time.

I finally uninstalled the battery monitor widget i was using because while it had some snazzy graphs, i decided i had to try somewhere to find out where all the battery is going.

So do you guys know anything else that might be causing my issues? I was using roughly the same setup with Liberty AOSP and getting roughly 24-30 hours on a charge (though I replaced the social networking with the respective twitter and facebook apps)

I have not done battery calibration other than before I installed the rom i cleared the Battery Stats in CWR before flashing this ROM. ROM TOOLBOX has an option to WIPE BATTERY STATS and reboot but I have also seen other Battery Calibrators. Is there a way that works best or do they all do the same thing?

Thanks for the help!

You do it after you install any rom and wiping battery stats. Get the one from NeMa. Your phone should settle down afterwards. Then reassess any serious drain issues.

30% drop took an hour this time but of that hour the screen been on 57mins lol

Followed the batt calibration steps and wiped batt stats before running it... should be fine under normal use

I wanted to try Shuji ROM, but I have a question...I'm running LiquidGB 2.6, I have to flash TBH GB update before I flash Shuji. The question is do I have to sbf before I try flashed the GB update, or will I be file since I'm on Liquid?

Has anyone tried out the MOEmod 1.5?

Feedback?

I'm running it now, and ran 1.0 as well. It is definitely my favorite. I switch around quite a bit, but keep coming back to this. Very fast and stable, and the battery life is definitely better than I have experienced with CM7. I haven't had any problems with it yet, I don't think (and nothing serious, if I did). It's also the first ROM that I haven't felt the need to overclock (although I do under-volt). Of course, YMMV.

Thanks, I want to try Shuji, but I guess I'll give this one a shoot while I'm still on the 2int side of things dancedroid

I hear ya. I thought about trying it, but I think I've come to the conclusion that I like the features of the 2nd init ROMS (reboot/recovery/screenshot options in the power-off menu, toggles in the notification bar, the theme switcher, speed, a bunch of other stuff) too much to go back to GB-based ROMs, although there are some things I prefer with those (battery life, the ability to clear individual notification items, not sure if there's anything else?). Still looking for the ROM that has everything. :)

The files wouldn't install for me over CM7, so I had to sbf

I'm with you. I love everything about the CM based ROM's. I just want to see how good this battery life really is. I probably wont stay for to long, cuz I don't know if I can go without the toggles in the notification I use those constantly. The battery life is the only thing I want to look at. Plus I want to see if it will be good for my wife. She doesn't need anything fancy just battery life, and she is running stock right now and having some problems.

As far as clearing individual notifications, I've been able to do it on all the 2nd init ROM's...all you have to do is swipe them away. It doesn't have that little red circle like GB but you can do it non the less.
