People who ordered two weeks after me are getting their devices today. What bs is that? I've been expecting it Nov 10-12. Those people should be two weeks after me. Huawei or Google screwed the pooch again. Typical google.

Just got the email from Huawei! Mine's on it's way as well!

The email had no tracking number though. It said I could log in to view the status. Of course, I ordered as a guest, so I had no login credentials tied to my order.

So, I called support to see if they had a tracking number. First of all, their support has been awesome the 2 times I've chatted with them on the PC and this time on the phone. Professional and friendly. Would recommend dealing with them if you need to.

The gal I talked to's reaction was PRICELESS. She says, "Oh cool. They started shipping." She didn't even know!

Long story short, she assured me that the email with Shipment number meant that they'd packaged it up and sent it out, but they haven't received a tracking number on it themselves yet, so I should expect another email with the next few days.

Here's hoping this isn't some sort of fluke and I'll get the phone by the middle of next week!

I think I can speak for the whole forum in saying that we're all happy (& relieved) to hear this most excellent news that @Jonny Kansas finally has some shipping information. I can't begin to imagine what your parents went through during Christmas at the Kansas resident. I imagine it went a little something like this:

9 y/o Little Jonny Kansas: Mom, here's 3 copies of my Excel spreadsheet Christmas list laid out in order of importance with the top 5 gifts highlighted in bold comic sans font. Please tell Santa I will leave him extra cookies & milk if he stops at our house first. I will also work the next 3 summers helping Santas elves wash & wax his sleigh and feed the reindeer if he brings me a Super Nintendo along with my Rockem Sockem Robots.

UP in my room? We lived in a one level house.

Also, imagine the fact that my birthday is about a month after Christmas, how I swindled that deal some years to get something bigger for Christmas.

"If I get this now, I don't need anything for my birthday." Worked like a charm.

I'll admit, I haven't been very busy in my personal life lately, so the fever got me good this time around. It was bad enough waiting for the Note 4 last year, but I'll be the first to admit that I've been a little nuts about this phone.

Here's hoping today counts as day one of the potential 5-7 days shipping time, for the forum's sake!

That's what they told me too @Jonny Kansas, I won't get a notification until they package it up and are ready to ship it. So we'll see when mine comes. Hopefully with you guys getting yours much sooner, that means I don't have to wait much longer.

I'm worried they'll pull that on me too. There's no place to pickup in my area, so I'd have to wait again. I'm assuming it needs a signature, so I intend to take a vacation day on the day that I should expect it, assuming I get a tracking number eventually. If they don't bring it, I don't know if I've got enough time left to take another day. Have to save a week for my Thanksgiving trip.

I could do MOST of my job from home too. Only issue is, as THE IT guy, if there's something physical that I need to address or check out, I'd still have to drive in.

I don't push it, but I'm sure I could arrange more time at home. During business hours, my office phone already forwards to my cell when I'm away from my desk and I can remote in to any computer in the building.

I'm kinda saving that card though for if/when the wife and I get pregnant, so I can finagle as much time home after as possible.
