The forums seem to be overtaken by ICS leaks. Am I the only one or are others still having issues with 4G while on 905?
Man you should flash it, I swear u won't regret it. 905 sucked so bad, it seemed like every time I tried to use the net or voice search it would loose connection. With ICS leaks my data hasn't dropped at all in almost a weeks time. Its really like having 2 different phones.

To be honest, I don't even know what flashing technically means. LOL. My phone is used for business purposes and I really cannot mess it up. Things just seem very complicated to a newbie stock user on these forums as well. Having to go back to 902, update, new ICS leak builds every other day. I just want the real one already!
That's why I wrote my script. It's not without risk, let me be clear. But, when it works, and for the vast majority it does quite well, it allows you to move through the leaks quite easily without losing data or apps. It will push the updates to your sdcard-ext, downgrade you to 902, and then explain how to put the phone into recovery. It then walks you through the steps to flash 905, the latest ICS update, and wipe the cache. After that, you reboot the phone and you're on the latest ICS build with everything still in place. The risk is if the script doesn't work for whatever reason, you'll have to do a full restore of the phone and reset up your apps and settings. But, that's the worse case.
Right now, you don't have to go back to 902. You'd just push the 232 update to your sdcard-ext and flash it. I can give you the instructions on that. But, what I'm saying is, next leak, or OTA, you will have to go back as they only flash over 905. That's where my script comes in.

But for where you're at right now, you only need to install the 232 update and you're good to go til the next leak or OTA update.
Scottdog again! lol Well, so what you are saying is that I need to get back to 902 and then go from there? I guess I can do that. How do I go about it?
I wasn't saying anything about your situation. You can try it if you want. As for how to go about it, didn't you look at the link I posted? It has detailed instructions.
I just remember someone saying that I should basically start over and do it with your script so I can still get the OTA update when it hits. It will also take care of my rooting issue, too. Am I correct? Everything I need is right there in the link? Even if Im on .230 already? I certainly dont want to brick my phone...
I'm so not convinced my script will fix your issue else I'd have recommended it yesterday. If it were me in your situation, you'd not like what I'd recommend. Which is to use the full FXZ back to 902 and start over clean. Since you're not rooted you can't do a backup so that rather sucks, but, something is definitely not ok in your situation. I'd start clean but that's just me.
So, what is my option? Im okay with no backup because I did a clean flash of .230 anyway. I dont have anything on the phone that is important.
I guess I should say, "What is FXZ?" lol Sorry, buddy.
