Will the radios in the bionic be better after ics, meaning less data drops and less switching between 3g and 4g.

My phone switches from 3g to 4g and anywhere between 0 bars to 3 bars all while just sitting on my bed.

That's what happens when u on a 4G fringe its not the phones fault u at least maintain data

My wifes Bionic is stellar when it comes to retaining 4G. WAY WAY better than my Maxx. I can be in the mall in a 4G LTE area (not extended 4G) and lose mine and hers never misses a beat. We live in a 4G extended area though. My Maxx is switching back and forth all day. Her Bionic on the other hand is rock solid 4G all the time. Weird

Just got my GS3 in a hour ago via FEDEX. I will activate it tomorrow and do a comparison between my Maxx and it. The loser gets sold!!! LOL

In theory, yes. Myself it's been the same on my phone on GB regardless of version. But then again, I haven't had the data problems others have. I live in San Diego, one of the first cities to get 4G. At my house data is spottiy, but a block or so away 4G is constant. I can wait.

I didn't want to install a leak, but 905 was so horrible, i figured I would give it a shot. Installed 233 and couldn't be happier. Didn't need to go back to 902. Well worth the risk which is pretty minimal. My phone works good now and I have data!!!

233?! Am I missing something? I thought 232 was the most recent...

Edit: Silly me... You're probably talking about 2233 and I'm being over zealous...

Or they wanted to type 232 and typed 233.

I thought the same thing as well.

I work in the area where reception is pretty poor. My phone always lost data when I walk on staircase with 905. With ICS, overall data connection improved quite a lot, which saves battery substantially. Not only data connection but also the way phone operates changed so much that I feel like I got new phone.

The only issue I have is the high pitch whine. Bionic initially had issue with high pitch noise and I got rid of it with OTA update. Now it's back. Other than that, 232 is almost RC quality.

I certainly hope ics helps my phone. As a matter of fact as I'm writing this I have no data but thanks to my neighbors wifi I can finish. I don't have 3g or 4g at the moment. I'm sure if I reboot I would . But why should u have to do that every time this happens. This is crazy.

I wish there was an app in the market that I could download that would give me ics. Not just a launcher. Even a taste would be nice . Lol.

Its so easy man lol but that would be cool haha

Not so easy. Too many steps to follow and I would have to use a computer, which mine is shot. My bionic is my computer.

You shouldn't need your computer... Download the zip to your sd card directly from your phone, boot into fast boot by holding power and volume down, and just select the update after selecting flash update from zip. It's pretty simple.
