Who is waiting for the OTA ICS??

Because I barely understood what you said in that paragraph is why! I cannot mess up my phone. Have no idea what FXZ or RSD lite even means.
Then to be off the upgrade path and so forth. Overwhelming for somebody who doesn't do this kind of stuff.

So update to 232 for now and then update to the OTA when it gets here. :) With an FXZ available to take you to full 905 stock in a worst case scenario, and my script to move you from leak to leak without data or app loss at best, I don't understand the waiting thing. Unless of course you aren't able to flash with RSD Lite for whatever reason.

Waiting it is then. :) I hear it's going to be a while. Possibly september. But that's only if the person who told me that has correct info which I have no idea. Plan on another 5-6 weeks for OTA unless some miracle happens and it really does come before the 15th.

September? Holy s**t. I can not be dealing with these data drops for much longer.

I'm on stock 905. No root. Can you post the link with directions?

If you're stock 905 it's a piece of cake. Just get the 232 update, put it on your sdcard-ext, turn your phone off, hold volume up and down at the same time and press power. Volume down to recovery, then press volume up. When the android graphic comes up, press both volume up and down at the same time, then volume down to Apply update zip from sdcard, press power, select your update that you put on sdcard-ext, press power, sit back and relax while it updates. When the time comes to update to the OTA, there are 2 options. Easiest is my House of Bionic script (SamuriHL_HouseOfBionic) or you can do a full FXZ back to 905 (which will wipe your apps and data and return to factory stock 905 as if you just bought the phone) and then take the update. DO NOT install 235. Only do 232. I don't have a link to it handy.

Make sure you back up any valuable data first. Especially off the internal memory. That way in the absolute worst case scenario you can FXZ back to factory 905 and start over. However, if you're stock 905, this shouldn't cause you any issues at all. The backup idea is just a precaution. I like being careful.

Did all that, says E-signature verification failed. Installation aborted.
Still in that system recovery screen

Gotta post more of the error than that. You're stock 905 with no mods at all? (Safestrap, bootstrap, forever root, etc). Don't panic. Nothing's changed on your phone at this point. So rebooting will be right where you left it.

I need to run out for a couple hours. Use this tool:

WinMD5 Free - Windows MD5 Utility Freeware

And get the MD5 hash of the 232 zip you downloaded and put on your phone. Compare it to:

E002C1650F0F73C5BE8543ACF1329CBC

If they're the same then you have the right file. If they aren't, you have a bad file. Also, don't unzip it to your sdcard-ext. Just copy it there.

If you have questions while I'm gone, I hope others will pick up here.

No mods at all. I never mess with the phone. Only official updates etc.
It went through the process
Finding update package
opening update package
verifying update package
e-signature verification failed
installation aborted

Tried twice...

Yep same exact number. Didn't unzip just moved file into sd-ext

The wait was killing me so I just got the Nexus 7 today. I still want ICS on my Bionic ASAP but having Jelly Bean to play with makes the wait a lot easier.

Delete the update zip off your phone and recopy it. It's corrupt.

It's gonna take them THAT long to fix the effing install script so it doesn't fail on certain devices? Wow, Moto is getting WORSE with updates, not even close to BETTER.
