Who is waiting for the OTA ICS??

Make sure you don't take the OTA blind then. Cause once you do, no going back.

Thanks bro, but being that I'm back on Eclipse 3.0/.901 I cannot take the OTA unless I manually put myself back to stock .905...so I'm good as far as that's concerned. I'm just hoping that Moto works things out with Adobe so that flash will work correctly on the official ICS release, because it sucked testing out the ICS leaks only to not have flash work properly.

Yea, I'm just not hopeful at all. It would be NICE if they fixed it but so far it hasn't worked right in any of the leaks and on other moto devices, as well. That's not so encouraging.

Flash is almost as dead as GB. HTML 5 replaces it entirely and will run native in all browsers once the implementation grows for a few months or a year. In 18 months it will just be interweb nostalgia.

The problem with that theory is that plenty of sites still use flash. Now we know what all those iDevices feel like. :D

Which means that not only you can just about kiss Flash goodbye on your Bionic, you won't be seeing HTML 5 until your next phone. Like SamuriHL said, we'll be like the iPhone for at least a year.

Exactly why I do feel slightly optimistic that Adobe will play ball with Google. Or is it Google pinching Adobe??:biggrin:

It's not really up to Google, Adobe is the one that won't support Android JB, it wasn't going to support ICS but are now planning to do so...... Google probably didn't play nice with Adobe's demands??

Chrome, firefox, and opera are all already HTML 5 compliant. The code is the missing link.

Maybe my phone is an exception to the rule, but Flash does work on my rooted 232 ics install. When I went to the first Site that required flash I got the warning to download the player from Google Play and every flash Site that I have visited has worked.
