There is no hidden menu. Just having some fun with the new Kit Kat logo that pops up and spins in circles. :biggrin:

okay, I've read this whole string several times. Can anyone actually confirm if they preserved root with this update?? Getting the V push notices every 12 hrs.

yea, unlocked, rooted.

plan is to unfreeze bloat apps, unroot with preserve (voodoo), take update, reroot, refreeze (maybe).

suggestions?? opinions?? ;-)

There have been issues with "unroot" methods & taking the OTA. Your best bet is to return to stock, take the update and go from there.
Hang in there & one of our more knowledgeable members can verify this for you.

Important to note the big print: if locked, you will loose root.

Yes: IF LOCKED YOU WILL LOSE ROOT PROBABLY PERMANENTLY.
If UNLOCKED: you can re-root (as I just did).
