So are you recommending the move now, even if you're 232 or earlier? I haven't read all 200+ pages here, but my understanding was that you were stuck once 235 or beyond...

For some people, yes. For those who still want/need the safety blanket of an FXZ, then I still recommend 232. But at this point, it's increasingly likely that 246 will end up being our OTA so there's less of a risk of having to install a new build later down the road.

Very odd...so I did a factory reset after updating to .246, but I still have all the old files/folders in device storage.

But all of my apps were gone. Shouldn't it have wiped the internal storage?

its right in the FAQ:
"Q: When I do a factory reset, I'm still on same build I was on before. Why didn't it work?
A: Well, you had incorrect expectations about what happens in a factory reset, apparently. It does nothing more than wipe the data partition and doesn't touch any other partitions at all."

edit: damn it Sam beat me to it

Not unless u tell it to wipe internal or external storage

That's what it is. If you do it inside the system, you get prompts asking if you want to wipe internal storage. I did it the fancy smancy Sam way and didn't get those prompts :P lol

Does anyone know if it's possible to turn the "wifi auto on" feature off? I dont' have wifi turned yet, yet when I open a media app like google music, it turns it on and starts scanning for networks.
